I was there with my cousin. Some old couple gave us their seat tickets (they said it was too loud for them) and we got upgraded to get front row seats. We were probably the youngest people there and the only ones filming with a phone, I even made eye contact with Justin Hayward and John Lodge. It was unforgettable.

Dude!! I had that same experience 😂 but mine was with Pete Townsend /The Who in 2006 at the Portland rose garden aka the moda center. Right after baba O'Riley. Never forget it in my life. I was in the production seats and I yelled with a double thumbs up " you fucking rock!!!!" And Pete Townsend looked me dead in the eye and gave me me a solid double thumbs up. I couldn't describe how cool that was.

Unfortuantly, time is catching up with them. First, Mike Pinder left the group, then Ray Thomas passed away, and since this performance, Graeham Edge has also passed away, leaving just Justin and John, also known as the "BlueJays", which they recorded as, for a while between 1978 and the early 80s.

It's incredible to see Justin Hayward and John Lodge still performing after all these years. As Spector Tippy commented; " The ethereal aura and intensity of the voices reach our souls and stops us in our tracks." I would go further to say for a long time I have been travelling eternity road with The Moody Blues and I plan on continuing with them into eternity itself.

I had the privilege to see the Moody Blues 3 times, once in 1988, 1989, and 1993. Incredible musicians, and talented songwriters. Watching their performances live is an experience I'll always treasure, much in the same way seeing Paul McCartney perform in 2005. Birthday gift from my son. These are moments of our lives we never forget ! Long live Justin, John, and Graham. Much love to Mike Pinder and god rest his soul Ray Thomas. These guys helped me survive my teenage years in the 1970s, just listening to their music.

    Just listening...speechless. Thank you
Moody Blues for making my day much better.
    Lyrics:
    Nights in white satin
    Never reaching the end
    Letters I've written
    Never meaning to send
    Beauty I'd always missed
    With these eyes before
    Just what the truth is
    I can't say any more
    'Cause I love you
    Yes I love you
    Oh how I love you
Gazing at people, some hand in hand
Just what I'm going through they can't understand
Some try to tell me, thoughts they cannot defend
Just what you want to be, you will be in the end
    And I love you
    Yes I love you
    Oh how I love you
    Oh how I love you
    Nights in white satin
    Never reaching the end
    Letters I've written
    Never meaning to send
    Beauty I've always missed
    With these eyes before
    Just what the truth is
    I can't say any more
    'Cause I love you
    Yes I love you
    Oh how I love you
    Oh how I love you
    'Cause I love you
    Yes I love you
    Oh how I love you
    Oh how I love you

    I can't say anymore
    'Cause I love you
    Yes, I love you
    Oh, how I love you
    Oh, how I love you
    'Cause I love you
    Yes, I love you
    Oh, how I love you

    Gazing at people,Some hand and hand,Just what I'm going through,"THEY CAN'T UNDERSTAND".
Some try to tell me,Thoughts cannot defend,That's what you want to be,"I WILL BE IN THE END".
