All the older folks in this comment section, 33 year old here who unfortunately only discovered Pink Floyd about 2 years ago. And I can't believe how much a part of my personality their music has become. I'll make sure to pass this down to my generations, Pink Floyd will never ever die!

What I like about Gilmore is that he plays with such great feeling.... holds onto notes and makes them sound incredible!!!! ....instead of trying to see how many notes he can squeeze in a measure!
I am 70..we are the luckiest generation to vitmessed the greatnes of these musicians..gives me chills down to my spine every time i listen to him and pink floyd still do..

I don't care what anyone says: There is no better guitarist, singer, songwriter alive today. There are better singers. There are more talented guitarists, and better songwriters. But there is nobody else who puts it all together in one package, and who throws his heart and soul into his music, as Gilmour.
Every guitar wishes it will get a David Gilmour for its birthday. Absolute legend. There is no one better. No matter how many times I hear this solo, it brings a tear to my eyes and sends shivers down my spine. That is the power of music at its absolute best.
There isn't wine on this earth that ages better than this man's guitar playing. Always a legend, will never be another like him.
David is one of the few guitarists that cuts to the heart when he plays. Everyone ‘feels’ what he’s playing.
The tone this man has achieved is unbelievable. Look at how casually he plays and makes the guitar sound the way it does. Truly unbelievable.
Earth is billions of years old, and we are fortunate enough to be on it at the exact time as David. 😎❤️
