Gorgeous glass lids, Louise. Nice advice on the air bubbles. It's great you give your tips freely without expectation. We have none to give! 🤣🤣Beautiful!
Absolutely a work of art, Louise. Your hospitality and inspiring painting techniques always make me come back for more inspiring videos like yours and Marie-Louise.
Beautiful as always the results the glass cover lids . I love it the colors the green and blue 💙. Really like it I'm enjoying watching your process in doing glass lids.
Amazing how a former COP turned into such à Great Artist ! The rewards lovely retreat... as you sow.... so shall you reap Wishing you thé Best year ever 🎉🙏🎁
Thank you Jeannie, you’re far too kind, and my military cop days are from long, long ago! And I’m a believer in karma! Thanks for the well wishes, you the same!!
I was just thinking how I would have stuck my head directly in that white paint, inadvertently. Glad I’m not the only one who does such things! I make an absolute mess when I do these pours
Louise, when watching you blow the lid with the straw, I kept thinking, it that was me...I would have spilt the white cup of paint everywhere LOL then you moved it, big sigh of relief? Just kidding 😉 Your idea of using the straw for getting rid of air bubbles in the crevice of the jar lid, is very helpful, and a "great tip of the day"! You are a "perfectionist" and a good one 🤗 as I need all the help I can get 🙃 Very beautifully done, my friend 😍 Thanks so much! (your color combinations are so unique!)
Thanks Jude😘, and moving that paint tub comes from experience lol. I’m sure we’ve all weren’t painting our hair.😂 so glad you use out of my videos and I love coming up in color combinations. Have a great weekend.
Wow Sublime ! Everything you touch turns out so magicaly Perfect I Love these colors and really enjoy watching, along with your philosophy. Great entertainment 😊❤merci beaucoup
Thank you again Jeannie 😉and it makes me laugh a little bit because sometimes you should see some of my days and what a mess I make lol, that’s part of the growth!!
You can, but you run the risk of pulling up more bubbles than you wanna deal with. I often will bang it down hard to cross them to percolate up. I’ve already started trying a new pillow paint, and I have another idea as well to try, but I’ll wait And leave the jury out for that.
Hi Jennifer, in this one I think I have five colors that I lay down and yes, they are all mixed prior with the pouring medium. I have a video that shows how to mix paints with your pouring, medium, first, how to make your pouring medium and also covers the consistencies if you want to see that I will link it here. ruclips.net/video/iouCuMjEhbg/видео.htmlsi=7j-rPexX5xd0LN9q
I did some lids yesterday and when drying they seem to have a white ring from the pattern on the lid,did yours have that?when i resin will it disappear?
Hi Dottie, unfortunately, I don’t know what you’re describing. I never experienced a white ring. I don’t know if you’re on Facebook, but you can message me through either Louise Mckay, or Louise Mckay art a picture for me to look at.
Hi Karen, when I’m creating small items, I have a Noosa 8 oz cup in the center on the top. When I create even smaller items like these lids I put a little 2 ounce cup on top of the Noosa cup. I have a video that shows how I placed my Noosa cup. It’s like a three minute show until if you want to take a look. I don’t usually have a problem with items flying off..ruclips.net/video/5njiBXOop6U/видео.htmlsi=8IOTIX8XPa5Gz1jP

Thank you so much 💛epic adventure, I appreciate you being here and your support😘
Your work is just stunning. I have a question for you, do you use a top coat after is dry to protect the paint?
Hi and thank you💕 I always resin these and other functional art for bling and durability!!
Oh boy am i going to try this. Can you torch the bubbles out .
You can, but you run the risk of pulling up more bubbles than you wanna deal with. I often will bang it down hard to cross them to percolate up. I’ve already started trying a new pillow paint, and I have another idea as well to try, but I’ll wait And leave the jury out for that.
Louise, when you mix your paint colors, both colors have already been mixed with your pm correct?
Or do you add directly from the tube/bottle?
Hi Jennifer, in this one I think I have five colors that I lay down and yes, they are all mixed prior with the pouring medium. I have a video that shows how to mix paints with your pouring, medium, first, how to make your pouring medium and also covers the consistencies if you want to see that I will link it here. ruclips.net/video/iouCuMjEhbg/видео.htmlsi=7j-rPexX5xd0LN9q

What do you have on top of your turntable, and wouldn't the glass top fly off?
Hi Karen, when I’m creating small items, I have a Noosa 8 oz cup in the center on the top. When I create even smaller items like these lids I put a little 2 ounce cup on top of the Noosa cup.
