Pillow paint: PPG Multi-Pro 47-3110
My pouring medium is the usual Valspar ultra deep base 833124: Min-Wax high gloss varnish 3:1 ratio to start, adjusted for consistency from there, aiming for a 2-3 second trace when mixed with paints. For the mica powder mixing Behr 8300 with Minwax Gloss varnish 3:1 ish

Hi, Louise!
I am a newbie bloomer and I find this technique very challenging! I really wanted to do the bloom transfer onto an ornament. I can't count the times I scraped and started over again! I find the blow is the hardest part! Then my best blow fell off the skewer into the wet paint below. Not giving up! Thanks for the blooper! It is very relatable lol
Thanks so much Mystique😘, keep trying, adjust consistencies, work small to start, get the CA thin, paints about 2 second trace, pillow about 5 seconds. It’ll happen, the blow is tricky just have to find the groove!
