Glad you like them! And thank you👍🏼💙💜
Asheville 99. The tip about the pillow slinging back I learned from you and I do it every time now so it doesn’t come back. Love this fusion piece with the clock and flowers.
Thanks August👍🏼😉, yeah, that pillow has some sling like I've never seen! I didn't think of this as a fusion piece since the clock face is separate, but maybe it is since it's all one! 💕

Thanks so much Lakota💜👍🏼
Ashville 40, I felt that A was the better of the two . Nice looking, I did have a suggestion, maybe a little light tucked into the trunk somewhere. It could become a nice little accent piece and indeed become even more functional. Just a thought. Fairy lighting even.
Wow Janice, that is a great idea. Unfortunately I’m not adept at electrical and I’m actually afraid of it. But I have a friend up the road that can do electrical so maybe🤔🤔 thank you for that thought! And thank you for entering👍🏼💜
Ashville 50 - The clock is beautiful. I had my husband look for some old CDs so I can try my hand at a clock.
Thank you Dee, I actually did a very similar creation with a metal piece, slightly bigger thinking that would be the one I would use for this, however, it’s too big. But CDs work great for small clocks. Thank you for participating.👍🏼💜
Asheville 112 love this piece!!
Thanks so much Crystal💙💙👍🏼
Ashville #106. Hi Louise, I love the colors! I need to go through all my old CDs and give this a try. How's your bear family? I love your lives and seeing what the bears are up to!❤❤❤
Thank you, Gayle, yeah, you have a lot of CDs laying around a little bit. Pears are good so a couple my two brothers yesterday from a distance.!🧸 good👍🏼💜
Beautiful ! I think another coat might make a little more shiny like ur other pieces. Without the flowers, it would look more natural. More classy. Personal preference.
Thank you for your input, this is with semigloss, I deliberately wanted it, not as bright as the face of the clock because I wanted the clock to be the star this time. Thank you for your thoughts though I always appreciate input.💜💜
@@LouiseMcKayArt Good point about the clock being the star. Didn't think about it that way. Now, whenever i see a fallen branch i will think of you 😀

Asheville 6, thank you for changing this to include everyone. This is a gorgeous piece and I love purple btw, was watching and thinking it would have been really neat to run some of the purple colour down the wood as streaks and then add the flowers and the varnish! Beautiful

Awesome Danette and thank you. thank you for entering, 💜does cypress have good grain?
@LouiseMcKayArt yes. Used to build furniture here in Louisiana. I have a very old hope chest from my grandmother that is gorgeous. Every time the lake rises near our camp, we get cypress pieces left by the water. I was thinking about some tables from stumps but this would be unique for those pieces.

Hi, Me Again. Ashville #70.
I hope I got it right. I'm back to my Park Attendant job. It's nice to be back outdoors and being scolded by the local crows. I've got one week to get my park ready for reservations.
You got it, 👍🏼now get those crows in line!!🐦⬛🐦⬛
Me Again. I found a way to keep paint from "spoiling". After painting, I had to remove to skim off the top layer were the paint would interact with the air and dry. I found that for oil base paint, I would pour a tiny amount of mineral spirits to the top layer of paint before putting the lid on. This would keep all the paint liquid, and no dry scum. I found the same worked for water base paints as well. All I had to do was stir the mineral spirits, or water, into the paint and it was ready to go.
@@TheParkAttendant hmm interesting pro tip, but aren’t mineral spirits a solvent?
Gorgeous Louise I love the colors ❤ Ashville #110 ❤
Thank you again, Shannon and good luck💙👍🏼

Thank you Linda, 💜you’re never late you’re always on time. This is a weird one, I’m not classifying this is fusion because I didn’t make a paint skin, but maybe you’re right maybe it really is a fusion🤔🤔🤔🤔

I forgot to notice my number at first, so I had to unlike and then relike! Hope that doesn't disqualify me! Haha!
Gorgeous piece!
Thank you Jennifer 💜, as long as it’s close, not a problem I’ve got one right now that is not possible but I’m trying to hint to fix it, but as long as you’re in the ballpark, that’s fine. I have a couple with the same numbers in it kind of is inevitable.
@LouiseMcKayArt well I did use a real number. Those repeats are probably just copies of someone else's answer.
It can be tough, but hey, it's all about the fun and chances anyway!
That clock is fabulous! Matches those coasters perfectly! Love the fusion wood stand you made for it!
Hmm, can you make a fusion wood and resin coaster holder? Interesting thought, but only if you wanted to.
@@jenniferr8195 thanks Jennifer the clock face is the exact same color palette as the coasters, and I actually have another creation using the same color palette, trying to get rid of all that paint lol. I don’t think I’ll be doing a coaster holder, that would be diving a little too deep, and I don’t have the tools to make it with. However, that’s a great idea for somebody that has the tools for that. Period
@@LouiseMcKayArt that's okay, after all it was just a thought that bounced into my head while I was typing. And you have so much beauty coming out of you already with your wood fusion pieces! Period. 😀
