Merhaba Aysenur! I went into the city last month and had lunch at a highly rated Turkish restaurant. While I didn’t have pide, I did order ayran with my meal. I’m hooked. I would drink it everyday if it was readily available here. I’m very far from Mediterranean grocery stores in town. This pide looks very delicious. It seems like it would freeze well also.
Merhaba Maggie! Yes we drink ayran with many dishes and its very healthy. If you can buy some plain fulfat yogurt you can make it very easily. Just dilute the yogurt with water and add salt. Lets say for 1/3 cup yogurt add 2/3 cup water then check the consistency and add more if needed. Hope you enjoy
I only have one request, that you give the type of flour (Bread or all-purpose) and the weight in grammes in your recipes. You are my go-to channel for Turkish cooking, as you are genuine and a pleasure to watch.

I had a fantastic pide in Bursa and Edirne in 2021... I think Turkish/Ottoman cusine should be listed in the UNESCO cultural fund, just like mexican cuisine is for example. Maşallah, sister, good job. 🤝
