Welcome to the channel, well done for getting things back going with the resistance training. Try some more and keep swapping weighted lunges and split squats for Bodyweight until your legs get stronger 💪🏼👍

Great routine and efficient. Minimum breaks. Technically the first rounds were challenging (I am bad at lunges and the chin to bar was a challenge) For the second round I added just a bit of weight and made it safely and tired to the end.
Thanks man! Done it! 21kg entire workout (apart from warm up with 5kg) again sweating like a pig, but went through all the torture. I’ll do it again soon!! Cheers
Look at workout description & I usually say something like ‘Pick a weight you can overhead press for 12reps’. Possibly not for all older workouts but this one has workout listed in description so just pick a weight you can do each exercise for around 10-12 reps
Hey Tom, how often would you recommend I do this per week for best results? and is it worth just sticking to one video for now so I build strength and become familiar with the exercises?
I’d do this once a week but also pick 2 more different ones from my barbells playlist to also do once a week. So you are getting 3 workouts in but getting better each week at them.
To reduce weight you need to put yourself in a moderate kcal deficit (more kcal expended in the week than consumed). Eating clean is great for health but portion control with clean foods is still important to pay attention to. This workout will be great for contributing towards your kcal deficit and building an athletic physique. I’d say the most important thing with exercise is to pick a style of training you enjoy, can fit into your week and feel you can stick to regularly. The biceps curls are great for biceps. They are also involved in the barbell row. The triceps assist in the strict press and push press. There are no chest isolation exercises in this routine but quads / hamstrings / lower back / shoulders / Tricep / biceps & abs all covered so seems enough muscles for a ‘full body’ title. . . and is much more catchy 👍

Second section was harder. I generally find with these barbell workouts that I need to lighten the weight for the shoulder presses/ strict presses
