  • This 20min Barbell Workout can also be done with Dumbbells as a follow along at home or in the gym giving you a great full body barbell workout.
    The 20 minute workout includes a timer, as well as video prompts and technique tips throughout making it an easy to follow, safe and effective workout. The workout consists of barbell exercises for the Legs, Back, and Shoulders using compound movements (large muscle group combinations).

      @@theronparks9581 glad to help, keep it light enough to maintain good technique, enjoy building these into your daily routine. I train a fair few over 65-75 year olds and they often get in better shape than many of the 20 year olds I see so never too late to improve. Keep it up 💪🏼

    This was my first barbell workout in over 6 months. What I really like is the fact you keep talking to a minimum, you just focus on discussing the technique. That combined with music that isn't too jumpy or heavy makes me love this workout! Will be back for more 👏🏼🔥

      Hi Julia, What did u achieve at the end of the 6 months? I just started this training and I am focused on increasing the weights step by step every week and keeping the same number of reps...

    I am new to your channel. I did my first barbell work out with you really enjoyed it. What really made it simple what is the timer and you described everything to a T which was easy to do and I’ve learned a lot today. I would enjoy doing more work out with you. Thank you

    Just found you and did this workout for the first time today. It's exactly what I am looking for - 20-30 min workouts that challenge you and cover multiple muscle groups. I love having the clock on the screen for counting down. That helps keep me motivated. Thank you!

    Found this workout video I'm a stay at home mom dont go to the gym at all but have just a barbell. Let me tell you this work out has me sweating and sore the next day. Thank you for sharing.     This made me sweat a lot! Great, simple workout! Thanks dude!! And it was my first ever workout with barbell (only18kg) I am 42 and quite fit but after a year and a half of doing body weight just got my first starter pack weights and first week of working out with dumbbells behind me.       @@TomPetoTraining thanks for the good word! I did it again with 21kg this time.form most likely all over the place but did all the exercises with your pace. Sweated like hell, and only managed 3 rounds at the end. But it feels so good!! Thanks again!! I could not find a new barbell routine ? I can see the rings but I am yet to invest in those. All the best!

    I’ve just found you! What a great workout! I love how calming you are, it really gave me the opportunity to slow down and focus on my posture and getting the workout done correctly without injury. I LOVED the challenge at the end. Only managed 3 rounds (and some change) but enjoyed it nonetheless. Looking forward to the next one 😊

    Good one. Just started weightlifting after 2 years of no activity. Couldn’t hang the last 5 so did some jumping on the rebounder instead. Thank you! Hope I can build up to those last 5

    I am new to the channel and gave this one a try, I was looking for follow along workouts compatible with heavy weights - I do hiit style training but it’s not delivering the results I want, but I don’t have the capacity to do the programming myself. This really fit the bill, I found it challenging but not impossible and enjoyed the AMRAP at the end to really see how far I could push myself. I only managed half as many rounds as Tom with lower weights but it was killer for me and that’s what matters. Will be trying some of the other follow along workouts now too 👍🏻 thanks!

    Hi Tom, new to your channel - it's been a long long time since I've done any proper exercise, and just getting back into it now. Think I went a little too easy on myself with the weight (only 7.5 kg including bar 🙈) but managed to keep up with no extra breaks and was only just behind you in the last session - great video, got the blood pumping and felt like it was over in no time. Will try again tomorrow with 10 kg and try to increase every few days (upper body strength was never my forte, but I used to manage close to 30 kg so will aim to get back to that!) Thanks for the easy to follow routine - I look forward to trying the others!

    Great workout! Managed to get all the way to the last minute of the AMRAP before stopping. Been a while since I did weight training so went with 23KG on the barbell and it seemed pretty good. This is my new lunchbreak workout!

    I've been following this for a few weeks (1-2times a week) and I've realised I've never commented, and that commenting on a video really helps the channel. From now on, I'm going to comment every time. This means, if you never hear from me again, I've failed myself (lol).

    Can I do this but two repeations only, and have more rest after the first full sets? I’m just a beginner and apparently the weights in my house is quite too heavy for a beginner like me. Maybe I can try buying a lighter weight and do the work out for 20 minutes or I can use my old too heavy one and stick with 10 minutes until I can do more with less rest. What do you think? Thank you for any response! :>

      Just take some extra rests by pausing the video if your technique is still clean and work towards doing video without pausing. If you’re struggling to do the exercises properly then yes a lighter weight would be good.
