- I've been dreaming about the Tool Grid system ever since I saw it at SEMA. I was going to just order the entire line and figure it out myself, but Will and Chris offered to come down and help me walk through all the products that I'll be using to redo the drawers in my wash bay. This will be available in the OG store very soon!

15:38 ... “and if you’re really obsessed” 😂
Sorry to hear that Wally the owner has passed away. Seemed like a very intelligent and nice guy! All the best to him and his family and the legacy he left with the company he founded. Rest In Peace.
“So I’ll find some buddies that have messes on their hands and we’ll go clean it all up” sounds like another Adam LZ Obsessed Garage video.
LZ needs this bad. with all the projects and people it would be such a pain to keep track of tools
I don’t think this guy gets Matt yet. 😂😂
they dont but they are about to be swamped with orders so I think they'll be good friends soon LOL
😂😂😂😂
Awkward yet entertaining.... Perfect Fit!!
You can see the OCD really kick in at 10:50 when HE WANTS it to fit at 26in instead of 25.25
I felt badly for Wally. The tee-shirt dude isn't obsessive -- he's just obstinate. This video has six minutes of arguing about what obviously won't fit ... and then another 5 minutes finding out he's totally unprepared for the day's task.
This product is SICK! I can't wait to add this to my "Home Depot special" Husky rolling "mechanic style" toolbox.
Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum. This cracked me up.
I knew this video was coming, I saw how excited Matt was in the Sema video when he found their booth. Awesome brother! Ill be investing in this system down the road. Thanks for connecting with them, for us all.
I've been following ToolGrid for a little while now, the fact you're going to sell it is a freaking dream come true!
This is great!!! I'll be ordering this all for the workshop, garage, and my office drawers too
I can't thank you guys enough for taking the time to do this video. This is a truly brilliant idea. I really love this.
I just pulled all my tools out to reorganize. Let's see this finish product. Might just what I've been longing for.
Matt,
Use your Swiss Trax tile cutter, since grid is needing a straight cut.
Is there a particular tile cutter for Swiss trax? Who makes that flooring
@@Fee.1 Here is a link to different makes of tile cutters. You can see the one Matt, uses in some of the Swiss Trax floor installations as well. The flooring is made by Swiss Trax. However, their are other manufacturers out there like Race Deck, Speedway, etc. In my opinion, I like Swiss Trax and have used it before coming across Matt's channel. www.google.com/search?q=commercial+vinyl+tile+cutter&sxsrf=ACYBGNQShgKQYNJOnzDNzR7Y6zvXX5MDfg:1576261255880&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiKjOvhnrPmAhVOeKwKHUZnAwAQ_AUoAnoECA4QBA&biw=1920&bih=977
These guys make Matt seem like he is dripping with Charisma 🤣
23:05 When Matt pulls out the guns... LOL the dude face was priceless.
This is awesome!!!....Another thing I didn't know I need it...Thank you Matt!
I waited to be in bed after work to watch both videos. Here we go I'm excited about these!
The ol' mans face when you pulled that milwaukee out for the setting screw HA
Matt threatens to get it in with the OG FLEX 💪🏻!! Veins filled with Beadmaker boys!!!
This organizational tool is great. At first I was kind of skeptical about this product, but after hearing the "master" out, it seems like a great solution. Kinda finicky and tedious setup, but the result would be worth it. Great find Matt
Looking forward to seeing this product in the store. Was fun watching and listening to "Felix and Oscar", classic. :)
Awesome! Glad you are gonna carry these since I can buy this stuff and just drive an hour over to OG HQ to pick it up
This is a must buy, awesome stuff!
Not even 10 minutes into the video the older gentlemen looked like he had enough of Matt's crap already lol 😂😂 on a serious note though this is a sweet idea
Matt.. you can always prepare and install a black or other colored "moulding" trim around the inside of the drawer to hide the edges of the board
went and looked at this myself when I saw your SEMA video.
I loved Matt getting the one guy in trouble with his boss and then covering for him. "Uh, it must have blown away...."
@16:10 🤣🤣🤣 Mans nonreaction had me dying!
Great idea...i will get some cheap pegboard and cheap 2x2 angle pieces and screw them down.
Matt, you were so jacked up this episode, it made me laugh. You must have had some coffee before this.
6:15 Matty’s pre-sneeze face! 😂
Man this is awesome, sign me in, 👍👌
Awesome! I'm from Burlington Ontario
I'm in Oakville, had no idea this was right here.
Mississauga here!
Barrie, here. Nice to see cool local products
Watching this 4 years later and the addition of the 6x6 grid, the fitment of the very first draw could be minty by having smaller pieces to work with.
I really like the system, wish I could use it at work. We're required to have contrasting silhouettes so foam it is.
I'm in... Let's get it in the store
That can help Alberto big boost 🤣🔥
I knew i would get back into lego someday ^^ I wonder if their system can evolve into a screw-less system, just pieces that clicks into the mat and stay there, since there is not a lot of stress to keep the tool in place while opening/closing. Screws aren't expensive, but doing a full system might get up there.
It would also take forever to screw them all in, could easily make them clip in, probably would have to redesign the board tho
I was probably as excited to watch this as you were to make it. Are you going to be selling the pieces for the boards in large kits like other dealers, in smaller bagged quantities, or individually?
This system is brilliant. Love it.
haha we could have had that LOL that came out really dry. But im exited for this *jump* *jump* *jump* boink boink
13:24 Matt's eventual realization that he needed to trim it 🤣
I'm saddened to hear that the old gentleman/owner has passed away. R.I.P
how long do we have to wait for these to be in the OG store?
A deburring tool would work great on the edges.
🥴 so awesome. If I don't win the giveaway, I'm buying this.
Is that a M12 Fuel or the M12 Fuel surge? Matt the surge has changed my life. It’s so nice to have an impact that is quiet
Im already sold
I would like a nice tight fit too. I'd be just like matt trying to cram it in the drawer
I was literally just trying to find out where to buy these... I want these so bad
Right now, Matco dealers carry this system $$$
i ordered some from beach audio earlier this week.
That’s cool their in Burlington, I only 20 minutes away in Mississauga!
One of the best things I’ve found for tool organization: pourable silicone.
Pour in a bright color and let it set. Place tools where you want them, pour in a second color to mold around them
can you post a video showing your results? that sounds really cool
Sounds super cool, this has the advantage of being able to change stuff around
This put me to SLEEP !!!!!!
Where can we buy
Lego for old OCD guys.
Cool~!
Trust me. Trust me Matt!
Matt & the owner equals hilarious moments 😂😂😂😂😂
Looks cool but seems like camera was out of focus alot
I wonder if Matt’s psychologist watches his videos and shakes his head😂. JK... as always another good video👍🏻
This reminded me of a Jedi Master teaching his Padawan the ways of diligence, patience and harnessing his frustration into something pure.
Can you cut this with a table saw?
Yes, that would be preferred to get a straight cut.
I don't know what it is but something about this video is crazy cringeworthy... Maybe the awkwardness between Matt and the company reps.
pc guy they don’t know Matt that’s for sure lol
Another great addition to the garage but these drawn out videos are really starting to wear on me. This could of been a 10 min video at most explaining everything needed. If I could make a recommendation it would be to make a video series explaining why you choose to sell the products you do in a quick and energized manner. I don't have the time to watch a 4 part series on tool box install to see why they're chosen. Just some friendly feedback nothing negative. Cheers
I've heard that for the past 5 years. I'm not going to do that. The magic of this thing is the in between stuff. There are plenty of people that make videos like that.
I agree with Matt, the in between, and the details is what matters, I guess that's my OCD coming out...great video...
This video was kind of hard to watch! Not sure it really painted the company in the best light when clearly they are high quality so I hope the next one really smashes it out of the park.
I’m sure Wally is brilliant but he’s not the same speed as Matt.
Steadfastacres Steadfastacres
Sad comment.
Elders should get some respect. I bet in his prime he could run circles around most of us. Young people think they own the World. Remember we were all young once. And old Lion can still teach lessons!
@@sandmangti7040 I think he meant personality wise
@@sandmangti7040 he just isn't a perfectionist like Matt
Exactly what I meant, Wally Is obviously very smart and works his butt off. The “speed’ is a figure of speech comparing personality’s
These Canucks don’t seem very friendly 🤷🏼♂️😎
I volunteer my garage for you to practice on...
You looked really pissed off Matt after your draw got scratched
You want a mess, go to Tavaresh :P
29:10 I thought he was going to smash Matt’s fingers lol
burlington eh right on, only a couple hours from me. you can visit their HQ after i win the giveway haha
Love your vids man but sometimes just takes to lonnnnggggggggg to get to the point man
The younger guy SO got fired when they got back to HQ.
“Did you bring the catalogue?”
“No.”
“Did you bring the screwdriver?”
“No.”
The old dude looks like a tailor
this guy needs to listen to the pros
I am the pro.
RIP
Why didn't the younger guy do the presentation? The old man has no energy or excitement about his own product.
#janky
This poor guy spent the first 15 minutes arguing with the creator of the product....as if he didn't know what he was talking about....yikes
Nah, imma just 3d print some of these
What a waste of time
This is where I personally would draw the line! A way too expensive and way too work intense effort to be bothered with. I use a sort of sticky rubber draw liner that holds tools in place very well. This method is for those who have F U money and have nothing better to do with their time than to fiddle futz. Forgive me Matt, but this is a bit ridiculous! I admit that I AM OCD when it comes to tool organization and however this seems off the chart EVEN TO ME!
