Just scrolled through all of the comments and really appreciate how you read every one and respond to most. You're often misunderstood but you are a good guy and darn good at business. Should've accepted your job offer in 2020. I don't like should'ves but this one still hurts. I knew where you were headed, had no doubt about it. Taking risks isn't my strong suit and I still don't know how to overcome it. Nice work growing the brand and keep it up. Glad I can be a small part of it all as a mod.

Love your content. I also love my GT3 and GT3RS. You should join us sometime at Sebring. Ripping the 3RS in the mountains is fun but pushing it on the track is pretty incredible. BTW, I love the Hytorc Center Lock gun I bought from you. Makes life a lot easier.
What I always liked about the .1 3rs was the smooth look of the car. Especially the front bumper and how it flushes with the look of the car. And you pointed that out perfectly

I still like the .2 RS although it is a little more harsh on streets
More extreme- so the choice is based on what you want -not which is better - nice that you are back in what you’re happy with

I'm looking forward to the videos of the mods. I'm interested in doing some of the mods to my own Porsche. It would be amazing to see, not necessarily a how-to video, but at least get an idea of what I'd be getting myself into beforehand.
Havent had time to keep up with youtube in a while. Im glad to see things are going well with Matt & OG. Golf blue is definitely OG spec and im glad to see Matt back in a .1. The Brewster Touring was sick, especially with the manual, but this is the right car for him. Love it!

There’s some great channels on xm radio. Underrated. Especially for sports
I've switched mostly to Tidal but still use SXM in dead spots and in my wife's Outback. (of course we are 60 so maybe Matt is on to something ;-)

I haven’t been in a touring but I have had the pleasure of experiencing a gt3 rs and it was incredible. You made the right choice!

I trade in my wing 992 gt3 for 992 PTS touring and absolutely love it . 992 have better engine, suspension and ,for me , manual. Touring will keep value much better than 2016RS specifically for such a price . On a back roads 992 touring is as fast as RS . Loved your Turing and happy you found RS you like .
Hey Matt, the .1 RS has BMC filters installed from the factory. The .1 non-RS GT3 came with paper filters. Congrats on the car and buying what you want to enjoy!

Warranty is refundable from the dealer if sold (prorated). Previous owner may have been refunded already by their dealer.
What an amazing color, i am bck in a .1RS just like yourself after listening to motor journalists who hve over hyped the heck out the touring which is more like the nursing home edition compared to this. I installed the JCR center muffler, remote valve controller, swapped out the headunit for aftermarket with Apple/Android auto, suncoast 992 shifter with racetex surround boot, blackvue front & rear dash cam & lastly i installed a sports chrono gauge which is a 10min plug & play as mine didnt come with the center speaker so was easy to run the plug

The 991.1 GT3RS is incredible! I love the pit speed button & IMO looks nicer that the 991.2 RS. And it launches like crazy with those 21" rear tyres!
I like the painted vent surround, brings the outside into the interior. What's the point in specing your favourite colour on the car if you can't see it when you're inside. Nice touch.

The coolest thing about this video is that E92 M3 gives up nothing in terms of beauty to anything in your garage. Absolute perfection.
I have a similar combo in the garage with my E92 M3 and my 991.2 GT3. The 991.1 RS like this one here is still running the suspect engine and less desirable suspension tuning, so the 991.2 version is the way better choice.
I can't wait to see how to take care of the PPF - I need to do this. Congrats on your P-Car.

I've got an 02, 3.2 liter, 986 Porsche Boxster S; Fabspeed Exhaust, CAI, catless headers, IPD Plenum/TB, Numeric shifter etc.
It's in "Midnight Metalic Blue"... I think that's just about the perfect blue. If I had to go lighter I think "Miami blue" looks really nice on Porsche; especially the 911 GT3 😊

The undertray panel is from the 911R. Interior leather upgrades are another fun way to waste money. Frank at exclusive option has taken a lot of my money. I also knew you would complain about the white faces 😂

Congrats on this beauty! I recently got same car in Ultraviolet, also waited awhile for right spec and overpaid. Couple of things - I have Silver seatbelts and door pulls - what do you recommend to clean them? On the rear spoiler - do you have any bubbling on top, its a common issue from what i read on RL.
Yep, I have the same bubbling. Mike F too. I never noticed it on my white one. I have a video steaming the red belt in the 997 RS. If you search the channel, you can find it.
The video of the interior and seatbelt steaming is “997.2 GT3RS Interior Detail: Part Two”. Published Dec 16 2022. I remember because I shot this one. Hope that helps.

The sheen on this PPF looks exactly like the STEK that was done on 2 of my cars.
Re- the extended warranty. Majority of warranty claims aren’t on engine/powertrains. Vast majority are on electrical plus enhanced electrical items.
That warranty should be automatically transferred to the owner as it’s a OEM product.

That color is hot! Wasn't the biggest Brewster touring fan. Seemed like an old man cars and coffee spec. Love the move, big wangs and loud PTS colors is where it's at! 991's are the best. Enjoy it!

Congrats and beautiful spec. An ultraviolet 991.1 gt3 rs is one of my dream cars. With plans of a gt4rs and a daily Carrera, it sounds like having a manual transmission Porsche isn’t a priority for your P-cars.
The exhaust probably wasnt put on crooked. Mine does the same. When it expands it slides then contracts to the new position. Such a pain! Have to reposition it every 6 months.
Nice !!! I need to drive all these models to see which i prefer. I see alot of people going with the 2016 model over the 2018 and 2020 models very interesting. Guess newer isn’t always better. I like the new dash and tail lights but this front end is superior imo

I’m surprised you said the warranty was worthless. Plenty of 991.1 GT3s with grenaded motors from the connecting rods would be enough to scare me into a warranty
Those will almost all E and F version of the engine.
@@ObsessedGarage I suppose these cars have been around long enough to figure out if they would have any similar catastrophic failures so that makes sense. 5K for a little security blanket still sounds reasonable to me
