I also suffer from panic attacks when driving far away from home. A month ago I had to go to a very important seminar in NJ.
I’m in Long Island Ny. I thought I could make it but I was not able to cross any bridges. Tried for an hour and just couldn’t.
I know I’ll get better if I keep working at it. Training my dog helped, dog psychology is very similar to how human panic attacks work.

This is the perfect car and my dream car/color.
You ever considered switching to low pressure (larger orifice) for the final rinse? This would give more flow, so potentially a faster rinse. And for sure less misting/moisture

Way better debaged, did same to mine. Golf blue is an interesting colour looking forward to seeing shots in the sun.
I don't think I've ever seen a gt3rs without all the vinyl and it definitely looks sick, it's so much more clean that way and that color is awesome too👍
I was concerned about screwing the plate into my new golf r. Luckily the Porsche community had a solution. Carpokes makes CNC'd delrin plate mounts that stick to the car with 3m vhb tape. It has captive brass 1/4 20 threaded inserts so you can take the plate on and off without concern. Worth looking into. Love the golf blue Sir
3M VHB Tape for plates is I feel like an unknown gem of a solution. It's what Porsche uses to stick on your Euro delivery plates. I put the plate on my wife's vehicle in 2013 with 3M double sided trim tape and it's still on there.

CarPro ReTyre is great, it reacts so quickly and loosen the dirt like its nothing on really dirty tires

Your diet and routine is pretty on point… the only problem is cross fit. It’s terrible for your joints and you’re not going to cut weight like you want because of this thing called the KREBs cycle that you’re not really stimulating. In fact the reason interval training works is because of the KREBs cycle

@@ObsessedGarage “not going to cut weight like you want.” The headaches could definitely be related to cross fit too. It’s just not good for you. Almost all those lifts lead to degenerative disc and joint conditions. I’d at least look into interval training. Peter Attia has a lot of videos about zone training and interval training.
MWC is pretty good.. Give Armour wheel cleaner a shot, i like it better and it works well in the foam cannon.
I’ve used both now. Brake Buster is still better. I like MWC more than Armour. It has a lot more lubrication.
I agree, it looks 100X better without the logos.
Why as the older I get do I gain appreciation for the color blue so much more? I realize I’m being hypnotized by Matt with that Golf Blue GT3 RS. Stop it !!!

Awesome GT3 and great color! Protective Film Solutions (PFS) is the best you can get for PPF and vinyl graphics. I go there all the time for my cars and their work is better than top notch. They are exclusively an Xpel dealer though so if they did your GT3, it’s most likely Xpel. And I always see GMG cars there.

Regarding your normal maintenance wash procedure the Pre wash then OG Decon should you do that every time after the car has been coated or waxed? Or would a pre wash then foam wash be better?

Looks so much better without the stickers! For non track driving, I’d like it with a Touring or Turbo rear. That wing is too much for my taste on a road car.
I use MWC as a pre-wash (like BH Touch-Less) when I have to go too long between washes, or like once a quarter to just do a deep clean/decon. Spray it on a dry wheel, let it work and then spray it off. Then Brake Buster like normal.
I've found that it cleans much better than Brake Buster alone (almost like an acid) and keeps my wheel coatings performing well. It's definitely better than the average sodium thioglycolate wheel cleaner, and Sonax Full Effect.
I think that might have something to do with the fact it's an acid. Have you tried touchless for wheels as a first step to remove most of the dirt before using brake buster?

I’m surprised you don’t do the custom install radar detectors. I have three of the escort CI units. One redline and two max 360 CI’s. The performance is just so much better than the windshield units and I have a company in Texas that will put the display behind the rear view mirror glass so it’s a totally clean install.
I feel like I change cars too often.
@@ObsessedGarage I used to think that too; My oldest vehicle currently is a 2023 Bronco. The first install I did myself was on a 2022 C63 and it took probably 12 hours as I was intentionally slow/thorough. Hated the car sold it after 5 months and learned then that when you have a performance/high end car you can recoup majority of the installed detector cost at sale/trade in. Very few people buy a car like that or a real German sports car like you have that do not want a detector. I’m not sure if you’d want to be a dealer or if that’s an option but there’s absolutely no one that’s done a proper OG spec install video on a nice vehicle. I feel like that would be some killer content the way you and Mike execute.

Rather than bottles that you need to Squeeze why not put pumps on the larger bottles and pump directly into the cannon etc?
I've gone down the pump path many times. I find them to not work well with soap and were more work than I liked.
I have extreme anxiety (I am considered disabled, and am too anxious to leave my house alone), and one of my greatest anxiety triggers is driving. Not because I’m worried about my safety, but because I’m worried about damaging my car. The thought of damaging my favorite car has sent me into a panic attack, and I’ve gone multiple years at a time without driving the car just because of the anxiety. It’s rough. I don’t wish it on anyone. You’re not alone.
In the final moments of your life would you more regret some chips/dings or not driving the car?

@@ObsessedGarage it is. I understand it’s hard to shut off, but only the present is real. Your fears and anxiety are rooted in an imagined future which exists only in your mind. Learn to let those thoughts come and go without crippling you. The key is to not fight them, but acknowledge them, challenge their validity, and let them go.

Hey Matt if I may suggest some products if you're really looking for a Brake Buster substitute from Koch Chemie check out the Alkali Wheel Cleaner. And the Marolex Axel isn't really the thing anymore a IK Foam Pro 2 is way better imo, cheers and have a awesome day

@@vongdong10 he sold both Caymens. The white Caymen GTS was kept at the Helen house, but it just went back to the dealer. The blue GT4 made way for the Brewster car I believe.
My favorite Porsche blue(currently)after swapping from Oslo. Maybe buy a new one and do the PtS+ and find a blue in between those.

Hey Matt what kind of wheels are on the wash buckets ? Should I invest in your wash buckets ? I’m washing in my drive way. I find the concrete is destroying my plastic wheels and I ate my words awhile ago. One of my wheels on my bucket dolly broke.

Great video. I would love to see a video where you do a full wash with the EGO Pressure Washer. I saw the Evo video where you were drawing from a bucket but really want to see how it performs when it is attached to a normal water supply.

How do you get the water/moisture out of the garage after washing? Aircon? And does this work also in the winter in areas with frost/snow?
Yeah, the mini split conditions the area. It evaporates and dries off pretty quickly.

Matt, that color blue is just awesome! There are a lot of theories that rapid charging or turbocharging is very hard on batteries and decreases their lifespan. Especially in the cell phone realm. Do you agree?
The HO batteries from Milwaukee are best charged with their turbo. It’s all about heat management.
Matt you should study a bit on the law of attraction. I’m not sure if you have previously with all your success but once you understand the basic principles and witness them in your daily life you may learn how to better combat any negative emotions/feelings that come into your daily endeavors. Does the Magic Wheel Cleaner have any rust inhibitors? That's one thing I've really noticed using Brake Buster - my rotors never get that "flash rust" after a wash. It would be great to see a full "Dialing In" series on the GT3 RS - with all of your latest procedures!

Great video Matt. The car is looking sharp. Looking forward to the process of getting it dialed in. By the way any thought to possibly trying Jade Amethyst Glass Coating. Figured since it is a B&B Blending product it should theoretically play well with OG Drying Aid. Just ta thought.

Having two pressure washers doesn't draw water through the DI system too quickly? I know the DIC-20 from Spotless is rated for 2.5gpm and you said in the past that you guys are getting 4gpm at 900psi from the dual Kranzle K1322TS set-up.
The one I have in here now flows 10GPM.

It's much, much better. One layer, and a whole lot easier to apply.

What do you recommend to use on tires that have browning and sit outside 24/7 to get back to being black and have a matte finish?
My process is cleaning with Shine Supply Wise guy, then drying. Follow up with Stoner's Tarminator, deep cleaning them. If they are truck tires, I don't dress them. I clean with mineral spirits regularly. If they are sports car tires, I hit them with a thick coat of OG Tire Dressing and let sit over night. From there it's normal cleaning with Brake Buster and reapplication of OG Tire Dressing,

Is the sizing on your new hats the same as the old ones. I know they are adjustable. Is the sizing on the adjustable the same ?

How does brake buster do in terms of center lock corrosion? About to get new wheels and center locks and don’t want them to corrode. Any tips?
cant speak for the specific wheels you are getting, but brake buster does have a fairly decent corrosion inhibitor built into it.
I haven't noticed any issue with them and Brake Buster.
a thought occured to me the other day while washing my windows. How do you go about the wiper blades to keep them clean and perfectly functioning?
I just replace them often.
