Can we get more of the guy in the crowd, listening to the story, please? It would be amazing if we actually knew where a crowd guy went for all those years. Remember when you were on Donut he disappeared. We know you came back when you came back, but no one knows where he went that whole time. Just a cool side story idea
Disagree! 20 mins is the sweet spot altho I recognize that for some content longer videos are better. No issues with this one being almost an hour. Love that the 2nd video is about cars!
Yeah I know right? Donut is finally realizing that people want videos about cars and not temu accessories, but they realized too late. Up to SPEEED is back baby!
Last comment, just finishing up the video. I 100% agree that the "overhyped" hate of the RS is mostly for clicks and from a misunderstanding of what the RS is supposed to be. The thing is meant to be as close to a full race car that you can drive home, it's not meant to be comfortable, easy to drive, and easy going.
I'm only 7 minutes into the video and it feels so much like the old Donut that I so much love and miss! You hit the nail on the head, and I'm here for it!
I had to stop the video three minutes in to say thank you… Thank you James for reigniting my passion for cars and automotive engineering. I’m 26 and i’ve lost everything twice… i loved cars and devoted a good portion of my time to them… to keep a long story short, i forgot what passion felt like for a long time… and you my scruffy haired friend (along with a few others) are reminding me what passion truly looks like. Keep doing what you’re doing man. Love ya buddy.
I'm oh my God. I'm so glad. Please make it as long as you can and as detailed as you can. Your series at donut didn't do all the detail and was cut for time. I hate that. I love you.
Never apologize for the long run times. We are here for that sweet sweet quality you mentioned at the end of this video. We cant have it if its left on the cutting room floor. James, you're a legend. You're looking healthy as well brother. Glad we are all on this Speeed journey together. Very exciting to watch Speeed and Big Time makin moves out here.
Something you missed. The 996.1 GT3 actually did have a variant called the GT3 RS. The 996.1 GT3 RS was a race car built for privateers. The factory raced the GT3 R, and privateers were sold the GT3 RS. Porsche created the 996.2 GT3 RS primarily to homologate changes to the front suspension for racing. At that point the name of the race cars changed from RS to RSR. Since they were the race cars that utilized the road going RS’s front suspension modifications

It's been awesome to see you, much like a Porsche engineer, refine your product over the years into something truly special. This really captured the emotion I personally feel behind the cars that I've tuned and modified over years to fit my needs. As a driving and car enthusiast it’s always bothered me how others don’t understand the 992 GT3RS, what it’s position is in the entire automotive space and why it’s more special than it’s talked up to be. But this video made it not bother me nearly as much, as it’s not even meant to be understood by that demographic. The 992 GT3 RS Weissach and LFA Nurburgring are my two dream holy grail cars to own one day. Maybe even daily a plaid just to piss off the same fake car enthusiasts that claim the 3RS is overrated 😂
Btw, driving one night in my home town, i heard something special. Stopped at a red light, it pulled up along side us. It was this nerd in a car. I couldn't help myself. Rolled the window down, pointed at him to roll his window down... And i asked him: gt 3 rs? That look on his face! Priceless!

I was on the verge of tears multiple times throughout the video. Amazing job James 🫶
I beg for more of this kind of long form content. This is fantastic James. As a long time watcher of Donut, this is miles above and beyond. Great work
My favorite car brand, my favorite host. This is what I’ve been born to live for. I am so glad this is a deep dive.
Btw, driving one night in my home town, i heard something special. Stopped at a red light, it pulled up along side us. It was this nerd in a car. I couldn't help myself. Rolled the window down, pointed at him to roll his window down... And i asked him: gt 3 rs? That look on his face! Priceless!
Dude whoever is editing these things needs a raise, but the whole team is top tier 👑
James you’re the greatest storyteller on RUclips THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU
the passion that James puts into their passion is felt on on levels and thats why I will always watch this channel
I won't ever look at another Porsche the same again. The RS cars deserved a video this detailed, and once again, James delivers.
