+Unanimious easy for us who have been snowboarding and or skating for 15 years but for beginners I'm sure all of this looks intimidating. Jake, practice everything you can on flat terrain or a slight slope and it will be much easier once you progressive into the park.
It's good that your doing a lot of videos for begginer/intermediate riders, but I think a couple harder tutorials would really be appreciated, like a 540 or a boardslide to 270 out tutorial. I love this channel though.
Once you have learned the basics, you possess all the tools to take it up a notch. Do you really need a video-tutorial to tell you that a 540 needs more rotation(or air-time) than a 360?
I have learned so much from your videos. And because of that i am a much better rider now! So i just wanna say thank you for helping me out so much and even other people to. ;D
good stuff. been boarding for many years but don't really push too much. I freeride mostly and just love being on the mt. definitely love the tips on throwing some flair out there.
This channel is so great. Really helpful for beginners like myself. Also a realistic motivation and inspiration compared to the pro's channels. I have been snowboarding 3 times at a resort, the last time I took the courage to me to try to hit my first kicker, vent above all expectations and the next time ill go i will focus on FS and BS180. Thanks for the help.
a good tipp for the back 180... try to look between your chest and your back arm(or over your shoulder) this will help you to turn around, because you will always turn into that direction you are looking for. and you will see the landing a bit earlier ;)
I find nollie easier I learned nollie indies into drops in 3 try’s before I had them flat. Maybe it’s cause my board is backwards so my tail is longer lmao
Alright, I'm looking for help (urgent) because I have no clue what size to buy my board. When i go and rent it they usually give me a 142 inch board. Im 5 foot 8 and 193 pounds and play tackle football ( not fat btw ) I'm a beginner and really got into it, what size do you recommend for me please and thank you :) love this channel btw
Hey guys anyone got any tips for getting over a fear of snowboarding? I broke my wrist 2 holidays ago, but snowboarder perfectly last time, but for some reason terrified of snowboarding...
Hey Kevin, I need help about choosing a jacket. I'm a beginner and fall a lot. So I want a good waterproof and warm one. Which brands and models would you recommend?
it helps a lot but as long as you have you body weight far enough behind you it will come, it helps if u bend your back leg and keep you front leg straight
HI - what board are you on or can you recommend? I have a 157 parkstar but still seems too stiff for things like tripods where the tail doesnt bend enough - it still feels too all mountain. Im 6foot - what is a good length for a park board thanks
First year diving into the world of freestyle.... Learned basically all these tricks but didnt really get to try bigger jumps. So stoked to start sending it next year. It's gonna be nutz! Thanks for the awesome videos
Hey! Im having a really hard time finding out if im goofy or not. My dominant foot is my right foot, and i obv kick a ball with my right foot. Even tho people say im a regular, it feels easier to have the right foot in front, buy Again it makes my left foot so week in the back. It is hard for me to use my left foot, especially toe edge. And at the t bar i use my left foot in front, so am i weird or just what. When my left foot is in front, i have a lot control in the back foot, but not front foot. Can i Ask you which foot is your dominant foot? And is it normal to have your dominant foot in front?
+Johnny Nguyen if your right foot in front feels better. you are goofy, go with what feels right you answered your own question. and now it will be easier for you to ride switch (left foot in front). Go board homie
for spinning tricks is it better to have more of a duck stance? wider posture as they recomend for freestyle? I'm having a hard time getting spin, could be my board, could be my stance but I dunno, im at 15 and -15 for angle
+BigB 15 -15 is standard and I use it and so far Im up to 540s off jumps. and various spin tricks on rails. the stance could have an affect but it wont stop you at all
Does anyone know anything about flex rating? I have the burton custom and its flex rating is a five. I can't seem to do a nose press or tail press because my board doesn't flex that much. Do I just need to practice more or is my board to stiff?
+SnowboardProCamp whenever I try tripod it puts a lot of pressure on my hips. Is there anything I can do in terms of stance to avoid this or is it just me who has this issue?
+Toasted bread the first time i tried to 180 i went switch and did a frontside 180 just to get used to turning in the air before i was completely comfortable riding switch
tripods and butter spins are by far the funnest
you make everything look too easy
It is easy.
+Unanimious easy for us who have been snowboarding and or skating for 15 years but for beginners I'm sure all of this looks intimidating. Jake, practice everything you can on flat terrain or a slight slope and it will be much easier once you progressive into the park.
+Alex Alamangos Did I ever say it took 15 years to learn simple tricks? no. I said I've been snowboarding for 15 years.
+Alex Alamangos yeah he did
+The Unwanted Motorcycle u stupid

Kristian Horvli Yes actually going from a 3 to a 540 is a big step same with spinning off a rail maybe he has some tips to get more rotation
@@bill4833 did you get the 540?
@@tpespos bro that was 3 years ago. But yes I can 5 now it’s pretty easy and not that dangerous
I have learned so much from your videos. And because of that i am a much better rider now! So i just wanna say thank you for helping me out so much and even other people to. ;D
lol i tried the tripod but soon realised I don't know how to get out of it
yeah getting out of tripods is a challenge, i have trouble with it
good stuff. been boarding for many years but don't really push too much. I freeride mostly and just love being on the mt. definitely love the tips on throwing some flair out there.
I'm so pumped for snowboard season in ohio

What type of snowboard used in this video? (Camper, rocker..etc)
Can we get another 10 tricks to learn next?
How is a bs360 easier than a 180?
Inspiring video! I like all the ideas here and will start with beginner tricks first. One day I wioo try these.
Could you recommend a board for this kind of riding? I mean the stiffness and the curveness?
Dislocated my shoulder doing a tripod the first day of the season :( Back riding though, time to get steezy fs boardslides down
What jacket does he have? I want it
+Nick Lawton The Jacket brand is Airblaster.
Hey Kevin, I need help about choosing a jacket. I'm a beginner and fall a lot. So I want a good waterproof and warm one. Which brands and models would you recommend?
Do i need a flexible board to do the presses and butters?
it helps a lot but as long as you have you body weight far enough behind you it will come, it helps if u bend your back leg and keep you front leg straight
"Nollies are sometimes forgotten" i do the better than my fucking ollies god damnit

Nice video!
Have you guys been in Norway before? :D
I'm definitly going to try the first trick! That looks so cool! :)
First year diving into the world of freestyle.... Learned basically all these tricks but didnt really get to try bigger jumps. So stoked to start sending it next year. It's gonna be nutz! Thanks for the awesome videos

I’m coming in as a skateboarder but there’s snow where I live

I don't know why but I always end up with a bruised leg whenever I press too much. It is always on the outside of my leg at the top of my boot
Greetings From #ferniestoke
Either that was a half cab or a switch back 1 lol

thanks, this really helped me with developing my snowboarding video game!
hi, good video, is it possible to share its background music from the beginin'?
Man I really love a huge nollie popper of the biggest knuckle in the park feels so good :)
Great tips for these tricks. Need to practice these when I next go boarding. Thanks for the video.
I wait that i can go snowboarding but i go just like 5 days to skiing
I can’t do any of these except for the method grab.
What are some ways to do tricks at home if there is no more snow?
so excited to try these out for this season!!
backside 180 melon is whats up
First time snowboarding & will try this tricks. Thanks!
thank you for this!!!
for spinning tricks is it better to have more of a duck stance? wider posture as they recomend for freestyle? I'm having a hard time getting spin, could be my board, could be my stance but I dunno, im at 15 and -15 for angle
+BigB 15 -15 is standard and I use it and so far Im up to 540s off jumps. and various spin tricks on rails. the stance could have an affect but it wont stop you at all
+BigB turn your shoulders, your bottom half will follow
Another use for nollies is when you are stuck on a flat stretch of land so you can get speed
Nice video ! But I can do all of those tricks already :P I'm learning bs 540 and backflips now :P
Does anyone know anything about flex rating? I have the burton custom and its flex rating is a five. I can't seem to do a nose press or tail press because my board doesn't flex that much. Do I just need to practice more or is my board to stiff?
+Brandon Juedeman Learn how to shift your weight more. it not your board. its your weight distribution.
One thing that helped me is not only just lean back on your back foot, but pull up on your front one to really pull your board up
you should do a tutorial for like nose press on then a 180 on or stuff like that
Can wait to shred it this winter!
EACuber yeah same dude
hi
do you get to snowboard all year round where your at ?
im confident doing any trick mentioned on the list except for the tripods... im always scared my board will break..😅 is that actually possible?
No, it won't break. It is nearly impossible to snap your board.
can you do a video on how to add style to your riding? that would be great.
Lemme change your life bb
thank you so much for these videos! amazing channel!
I see you rocking the yellow von zippers in low light.
What type of board was used to perform these tricks?
i am afraid that my board brakes when doing tripod xD

How do i do kick flip?
Does the tri pod put a lot stress on the shoulders? My shoulders are messed up don't want to injure them more..lol
I've got bad shoulders too and it doesn't bother them.
+SnowboardProCamp whenever I try tripod it puts a lot of pressure on my hips. Is there anything I can do in terms of stance to avoid this or is it just me who has this issue?
How come he lands on the knuckle
I will Test some of this Tricks
I learned nollies before 180's haha
Just what I need to get me to aus nationals
Nice
What happened to melon grabs?
+Tswemy Check out the 10 grabs video. Think there is a melon grab in there.
what mountains do you ride
Can u do a how to method grab
when you did a front 180, you did it fakie. should I learn it that way first?
+Toasted bread or i guess just switch, but still, how should i learn it
+Toasted bread the first time i tried to 180 i went switch and did a frontside 180 just to get used to turning in the air before i was completely comfortable riding switch
ToastedBread i wouldn't, because you can't really do a trick if you're not able to safley ride before the take off
i just got a camoflage snowboard so i cant wait to try it out
See what
Ya i know
I mean its mine so daaa

Hey Kevin can u do a backflip
Do u need a really flexible board for the tripod?
A flexible board makes it easier, but you can still do it with a stiffer board.
I'm going snowboarding
We have the same board
Now I want to hit the mountains
Whats that song called at 2:20?
I really like this
What mountain are you on?
Your videos are awesome 👍
