@@alexl8392 😂😂 screw 'em! There's definitely something about the snowboard community where people are just as happy to be boarding as they are to see others succeeding 👍🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Love the insightful approach to learning and teaching - I’m going to take my time with those intro steps and learn this trick this year. I’m 35 years old and after many injuries am looking to tone down my snowboarding but this trick is on my bucket list. Did my first ever gainer flip off a tall dock earlier this year so I know I’m capable of committing to the rotation (different rotation I know but the gainer was a mind fuck for me)
Ughhh... Making it look so easy. Tame dog is literally my 1 goal & I'll be satisfied w/ my life 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. Nailed it in his 2nd try, I'm super hyped up for him.
I feel you bro, I have always had 2 all time dream tricks I’ve wanted to land: tre flip on a skateboard and tame dog on snowboard. Got the tre flip this summer after hundreds of hours of attempts.
Love that you broke down step by step what to do to make this more digestable! 1. Nollie 2. Practice somersaulting at the spot 3. Send it in some pow lol
Front flips has always scared me, but watching Mason progress and STOMP it, made me feel I can get there too. I can’t wait to try this progression, and stomp my TD
@@SnowboardAddiction I'd have loved to, but conditions on this multi trip (Andorra then Courmeyeur) were terrible, with only hard packed pistes to go at; hard work for mr & my edges BTW: do you have any vid/tips for such conditions? Cheers
If you look around may-july online and on ebay many retailers are getting rid of their last season's stuff for sometimes up to or over 50% off and its brand new gear. Burton has a good sale and I've gotten a few items on the cheap that way.
The way i learned it I was looking at some gold telluride i wanted for my collection. I started tip over I realized I cannot go back so I stepped on the nose and went ahead and flipped through 360 degrees.
I've tried this heaps but never get any rotation. I end up on my back everytime. I should say also, I used to do side saults on floor and trampolines, and am used to using my back leg kicking to get rotation. I also really struggle to get my hands on the ground in that tripod drill. Any tips?
Huh, that forward roll from the nollie feels so weird. Doing a nollie on its own is a bit weird but finding the perfect spot with a good landing seems to be key. I can do backflips all day, getting that forward rotation off the nollie feels really strange and is difficult to commit without a soft powder landing. Will intro that practice roll though to my group, only a couple can do tame dogs but the funny thing is both the guys who can tamedog struggle with backflips and heelside 360s.
Yes, But you should do it on trampoline on on flat ground with no board first. Flips need to be learned before taking to snow. That is just the safest way to do it, and will save a lot of pain.
Tame dogs have been the bane of my existence. I don't know why I can't get comfortable with these. I hurt my back knee by under rotating the flip, and now I'm kinda freaked to try. I've done all the steps. I can nollie well. Any tips on how to practice this safer? btw I have videos of my attempts on my ig: @maxhitts
My biggest goal this year! ANYONE with CORONA KNOWLEDGE or Nev, do u know if it's realistic to travel from Denmark to Whistler Blackcomb in 3 weeks thus the pandemic circumstances...? My two other shred plans (Austria and Norway) has been canceled due to this... :) Regards from Denmark!
Just watching him stomp this put a huge smile on MY face 😂🤘🏾 I can't wait to try this!
Right, I had a big cheesy smile. Co-worker noticed & asked me why I was being weird lol

tamedogs are my best/favorite trick. not that difficult, low consequence, and a huge crowd pleaser.
I skate goofy and ride regular, so nollies are way more comfortable than ollies for me.
This video just came extreme confidence. I'm going for it!
That was awesome, with those simple steps you made it look so easy, thanks!! I'm super stoked for him, and for myself to give this a go.
