I have a hard time keeping my weight over my feet during backside 180s. I end up falling forward or leaning too far back. Any tips for staying more centered?
What mic did you use for the voice over Kev? The audio sounds amazing! If I wasn’t so big I’d be working on ollies and air awareness this season but the only park work I want to work on is filming and getting closer to my target!
Ca Mon! I'm bigger than you and jumping is one of the things i wanna work on this year.... Along with most of the tricks in this vid. You can film me. Its probably the Mic he uses on the live streams.
First practice shifting your weight forward or back whilst keeping your shoulders and hips in alignment with your Snowboard. Once you are confident with that and able to hold the press for a few seconds without washing out try to either ollie or nollie into the press... You will find this more challenging but it will add style to the trick. 🤘
Nope but it'll make certain butter tricks like 360 nose rolls pretty difficult. The board he's riding on in this video is like a 3 or 4 flex rating. Really jibby.
Your weight is probably too far out one way or the other. Bending at the waist or having your upper body out of alignment with your Snowboard may cause this.
I miss snowboarding so much. My local indoor skidome closed and there's no opening date yet. Thank you for the videos, helping me progress.
Come work at the resorts bro snowboard all season
@@ajgallegos7432 once I move out this is what I'm doing, and then I'm skateboarding off season.
Yewww!
Is it open yet?

Super cool spotting Bear & The Park Run in some of these clips!
these are my fav types of videos from you
My First 180 I started switch then landed regular. Whatever is more comfortable as a rider. Still working on my pop riding switch.
Real fun! Next 10 tricks please 🙌
This was extremely helpful Kevin. Thanks for advancing my snowboarding. Can't wait for our season here in Australia. All go for late June. 🤩🤩🤩
i love this channel soooooo much
No one ever mentions them side hits!favorite thing to do while shredding!
Great video again Kevin. That Headspace is a dope board. I like it more and more every time I see it. Probably gonna buy it. Thanks for sharing
Good bag of tricks and great foundation to start from. Yew. 👍
Nice video! Thanks so much for making it
Thank you for being GOOFY ❤️

Your weight may not be balanced over your toe edge on your line in as you go to pop. Try looking over your trailing shoulder as you go for the spin.

The butter 360 is the only trick I can do on this list 😂 don’t know why it came so easy to me and the rest are terrifying lol
Great content. I always dig the tutorials. 👍
Want to practice all these this year.
i love you kevin
i love you so much
something other than jump and park tricks you can learn are eurocarves
Is it better to learn to ‘jump’ into the presses? Or lean into them slowly?

Now I have a massive urge to go snowboarding but I gotta wait till about November :/
You’re at my local mountain in my hometown baby!!! Big bear Ca

Ive been practicing BS 180s at speed and ate it so bad the other day my neck is super stiff from the whiplash....im getting too old for this lol
Bad luck back 1's, I got a concussion from gaping a box doing a back 1, I over rotated and ended up slamming my head on the ground
:56. Oh you mean like a burton t6? Lol feels like SOMETHING is going to break.
How to do a butter while being off piste (on a 169 Flagship) ??
How do you stop yourself going over the front of the board while doing a nose press? Is there a risk of the front of the board digging into the snow?
I watch all this vids but anything off side hits isn’t available to me cause my mountain doesn’t have any side hits
nice video
i think about snowboarding at least 4 times a week
A day
is a flat top camber a good park board?
When you say to pop do you mean like a olie or like jump out of your knees
I learned goofie and regular so switch is easy for me
Yay
I know flex numbers aren't standardized, but about what flex do you think is appropriate for your size to do these tricks?
Most boards out there are capable of doing these kind of tricks... The stiffer the board and the less you weigh the more the board will fight you.
It would be easiest on a 5 or softer, but really it's a combination of the riders weight and the profile of the board as well.
Snowboarding is somewhat similar to skating
Am I fine if I have a medium flex board?
I would think so I just bought a Rossi one I don’t remover what the flexibility is but it’s super stiff
It is my first snowboard so i don’t really know much
Pls someone can recommend a store for snowboards!??
@@nikhiljoshi2961 thanks bro, hope a new winter season without coronavirus soon.
How Canadian is the narrator? “Ouhtside the park” hahah
Oooot
How about 10 tricks outside the snow 😆
Haha, nice! I think I actually have that vid on the channel!

So to close to 500 subs
Is a Yes Standard (flex 7) too stiff to learn these tricks?
Nope but it'll make certain butter tricks like 360 nose rolls pretty difficult. The board he's riding on in this video is like a 3 or 4 flex rating. Really jibby.
where is this because all my runs are closed.
like what mountain
and state
finally, a video for russians
On my tail press I find that my board always slides out from under me to one side. Any tips?
Your weight is probably too far out one way or the other. Bending at the waist or having your upper body out of alignment with your Snowboard may cause this.
I would check to see that your shoulders are aligned with the board. If your shoulders are straight, that should also keep your hip in line as well.
Are you riding on ice?
Dude big bear man
But a pop isnt that better than a ollie on big jumps?
3rd

i cant 180 but i can 360
360 is so difficult
