+Max Nettamo They probably used camera stabilization equipment similar to, or possibly the same as, what was used in making the skateboarding film _We Are Blood_. If you search this on RUclips ( *Travelogue - We Are Blood | Part 4: Brazil* ) and start at 2m 10s, you see the first the trick filmed using that stabilization equipment, then a shot of that same trick from another camera that shows you what that equipment is, as the filmer run-walks follow-filming. In another making of _We Are Blood_ clip, Ty Evans talked about that equipment: what it is and who made it. I haven’t been able to find that other clip for this reply. What it does is negates/cancels motion in, I think, all directions, so the camera stabilization’s incredible. When you watch the skateboarding filmed with that equipment, the filmer run-walks and it is super smooth filming. Juxtapose that with the follow-filming in this _Peace Park_ film: just think of how much _smoother_ riding a snowboard on snow is compared to run-walk follow-filming skateboarding. That should give you a good idea on how this snowboarding was filmed. That said, this follow-filming snowboarding was INCREDIBLE. Just amazing.
Every move on this video makes me want to cry. I broke my neck 12 years ago, and there's not a day that goes by that I spend two seconds without thinking of flowing down mountain like a bird. It's absolute ecstasy, and an escape from reality which I think all of them, you, I have experienced. This is epic!
Peace Park is an absolutely sick video, I was pretty good skater some 200 centuries ago and love watching this video. Done a lot of half pipe back then and some quarter pipe and ramp stuff, but would love to have learned snowboarding years ago. I now watch and dream the days I could do tricks and grabs. Rock on guys. Have fun. going to learn to snowboard this year at 43 and hopefully do begin at some point in the next year or so to do some small jumps and rails, but nothing like this. Keep it up and keep inspiring young riders. You Guys Rock.
Super well filmed! Finally someone who makes a snowboard film the way i want it, feeliing like you're the rider instead of just plenty of shots here and there
thanks so much to the filming crew. awesome work done for us to enjoy. (and ofc the riders lol). The part about carving and butters and tricks like this made me so happy :')
That was fantastic! One of the better edits of a journey and vibe that traveled with it to come across my radar in a while. Great job to all involved :D
+Fable Good eyes, thanks for noticing! I'm surprised its that stable. Well, let's get an extra mortgage to buy it haha. Or maybe get a DJI Osmo. I guess it's not that good but it's 10 times cheaper... any thoughts?
+Jasper Bakker It probably works well with phones but that inherently limits the quality of the image you will get, but I guess at least it would be stable...
That introduction of the riders in one continuous shot was ridiculous!
So sick. I had a smile on my face all the way through watching this and didn't realise it until it finished
The camera guy should win this award
He's comfortable on all terrain.
Just going straight? Yeah joke really fits huh
who ever films these lines, is extremely skilled
+EDL Exploration true story bro ;)
+EDL Exploration They May be use self camera stabilizing drones.

My Anon I was thinking something along those lines of equipment. something "hevy duty". still AMAZING!
EDL Exploration Yep. 😉😉

The intro was one of the most well-shot pieces of live-action film work I've ever seen.
I've watched this video at least 8 or 9 times and it's a blast to watch every single time

This makes me excited about riding again.... riding since '92. I like seeing the focus be on the thrill, and less about technical stuff!. Great vibe!
thanks so much to the filming crew. awesome work done for us to enjoy. (and ofc the riders lol).
The part about carving and butters and tricks like this made me so happy :')

How did you guys stabilze the followshot? gimbal + 4k + aftereffects? Amazing editing!!!
+Jasper Bakker Check 2:59 looks like a Movi, probably no stabilization needed.
+Jasper Bakker Glidecam
Jasper Bakker The DJI Osmo is pretty sick. When you learn how to use it right you can get amazing shots! (:
That run looks fucking sick
“Runnin down a dream” edit was SICK!! 🦅❤️
