Damn I have just come across your videos and they gave me good ideas for my own study life. I thought you are another big youtuber that I didnt know about and now Im realizing that you only have 4k subscribers. Note-taking is good by itself for learning and superior if combined with other learning techniques
It’s better to record the audio of the lecture, and get it transcribed. Then you know the content is correct and you can use that as a starting point ( summarise) create quiz questions, provide examples

Yesterday i started using quizlet,i started to turn any session of the lectures into flashcards,i waste so much time on lecture screen but on flashcards i learn faster,more focused ,almost no distracted!

or you could just use the premade onkydex you're losing out on Anki's main feature which is the space repetition you're screwing yourself when it comes time for step one or whatever the British version of that is
