this video is just to show the disassembly cleaning and reassembly of the beretta APX. this is in my opinion one of the finest polymer pistols made today.

I've owned them all too, and I agree with you. I have like 30 or so handguns. I ONLY purchased an APX because it was on sale. With that said, I was so impressed by it that I purchased 2 more. It's my go to EDC pistol. One of my favorites.
They are awesome guns I think they are underrated by a lot of people. I think most people just have trouble with the looks of them they're kind of different

I picked up a Fullsize and Compact for around $300 and a Centurion Combat for $450 thanks to their vanity issues.

Holy shit! I was told from the beginning of owning the thing that I always had to have something to push that firing pin decocker otherwise you couldn't take the slide off. Thanks for this one friggin tip. Lol
Thank you for taking the time to make the video sir. I recently acquired an APX. Your video had the best explanation and easiest method for taking this firearm apart. I wish more firearms were as easy to take apart as this one...:)
I love this gun! I switched my lower from the black to the FDE with the black medium grip insert. The trigger for the price of this gun is amazing! Great video man!
I've had the APX-A1 for a few months now. Wow, you're not kidding how it's a pain to release the slide. Sometimes, it will engage to release or you're battling it. No wonder why Beretta made the standards higher. You're able to shoot 50K rounds w/o cleaning. 😆
I have 3k through my carry APX. The breakdown lever gets easier with use. How many rounds do you have threw yours? As far as the recoil soring goes, Beretta say that design will allow for the recoil spring to last 4x longer than traditional springs.
I have probably 350 to 400 rounds through mine. And I agree although The recoil spring looks ugly I have never had any issues whatsoever with the gun functioning . I think it is a very underrated gun. Like I said in the video it's probably my all-time favorite polymer handgun. Thanks so much for watching and leaving the comment
That recoil spring reminds of the one in the H&K mark 23 which has multiple springs to give it the durability to handle 10s of thousands of rounds, pretty interesting design
This was my first gun purchase and I'm quite happy with it. Only got 150 rounds through it so far. The disassembly is easy, people complained about it but it's easy.

@@mynameismyname7469 well Glocks are great guns no doubt but I don't think you will find the glock as ergonomic in your hands. I'd shoot one before I decided.
@@HamiltonOutdoors no it doesn't. You cal aslo get 21 round extended mags for it. I have 2 and all the mags run flawless. Ehat other guns preferably name brand and models are you referring to? This wad meant to be a service pistol. Do your research on what that is and tell me how many rounds it should hold compared to a gloc with a 30 round mag that is carried by no one except for range use or extra back ups

When releasing the slide, pull back on the slide a bit then push the button and turn the lever. Works perfect for me.

That is one gun that I would have loved to got my hands on was the APX compact. But they seem to have discontinued it.

I don't have a holster for it I keep it in my lock box on my headboard

I have found that if you use one hand to hold the pistol and pull the slide back about a 1/2 inch that button will mash with no problem
