Little tip from experience with that gun if the ammo says 1200fps the gun is probably going to shoot closer to 800fps and those guns do not like that black greased ammo

My 410 sas has a problem with the mag tube. The gas piston will get half way down and bind. When you take your first shot it has enough energy to over come that bind but the spring does not get it back over the bind and wont chamber the next round.

I just picked up one today for $200. I can’t really complain other than how hard it is to get the shells fully in. It really hurts my thumb. But it’s new so maybe it’ll break in and get easier.

Hello gentlemen! I enjoyed watching this presentation. I bought this gun recently and took it to a range and fired 110 grain wadcutters and some range ammo. I hadn't fired a gun in about 20 years and the kick seemed like a lot more than I expected, but after watching a few more videos I'm learning about other factors that effect recoil. What ammo would you recommend for this gun that has the least recoil?

It was not the gun it was your form. I could clearly see the angle of the barrel changed to a slightly lower pitch when you switched to the six-inch barrel.

I picked up my range officer compact about 4 years ago used. Though mine was identical to all the other range officers I noticed mine took down different than all the others like yours by needing the special tool. Beyond that all the others had this small key hole on the back of the pistol grip mine does not have that either. Makes me wonder why mine is so different than the others that are identical.

good video,compairison was fair ruger must of fast tracked i have one not a good choice. my heritage is strait shooting and very reliable.

It hurt me a little when you dropped the slide on an empty chamber. Otherwise good video.
