    Yes. Do More. I just found this channel. I love this sort of thing. My NASCAR chassis knowledge ends in around the early to mid-90s. I learned a bit about the more "modern" chassis, from this video.

    I enjoyed this video very much. I have been hooked on NASCAR since I was in the military and stationed in Virginia in 1965. I was from the west coast and I had only watched midgets, sprinters and modifieds up until that time. Your history of behind the scenes of NASCAR is one of few channels like this. Keep up the good work! 😎 🏁

    It was sad seeing that John Wes Townley truck sitting there rotting away. I liked those Zaxby's paint schemes. Such a shame that John went downhill and tried to kill his ex wife. I am glad he didn't succeed but I am sad he had to die in order for her to live. Thank you for showing this NASCAR chassis graveyard to us!

    I'm from outside of Toronto. When I went to Mooresville to pick up my racecar I found the whole area fascinating gear heads dream although I only had a day and a half to hang out. Scrap yards, smaller team shops, resellers like yourselves, Lake Norman bring it!

    Man... there are a few spots with some chunky welds on those roll cages. I always assumed because of safety those things got some top notch welding done on them.

      Bodies get cut up an sold for souvenirs, Racing Warehouse is a good place to start otherwise most teams will also sell old pieces.

      Well it could be because there was 2 in the movie my first thought myself was it's the trailer from maximum overdrive but without the vins you can't prove it.

    Excellent vid. A question; @1:15 you're saying something i can't quite make out. Sounds like you're saying..."They're beyond the ability to go back thru the "Robert Arm" ? or maybe "Romeron" ? Please clarify. I eat this stuff up,every detail.

      It was "Romer Arm" an instrument that's part of a larger CMM setup.
      It measures the chassis for tolerance when NASCAR inspects them at the R&D Center.

    Our best friends live in Winston Salem area. We visit them about once a year. Can a regular person like myself be able to go and get some.of the older sheetmetal for a personal man cave(mine)? Just would like to get a nose piece or bumper, or tailgate for.my wall.

      It's been awesome, no major issues.
      Regular maintenance and service, 12 years and 257k miles it's still going strong.

      It's a 2013 I bought in August of 2012.
