  • As spring training is finishing up and the regular season is underway, many of the seasoned players come into issues. This is when injuries start occurring. Many experience symptoms of what we call thoracic outlet syndrome or when the nerves that affect the shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands get choked or pinched. Dr. Lin is sharing how to prevent and rehab TOS!

Thank you! A mom of 5 here.. tired of wasting time going to doctors who dont know how to help... this is my issue. Causing neck and scalp and jaw tension...husbamd has been helping me crack my neck from differemt different angles every single day... but i need something else. @@RehabRevive i think I have that (thoracic outlet syndrome) and when I feel poor I help myself by balancing my arms on my sides while carrying a 6 liters' pack of water bottles (carrying with my hands, sorry my english is far from perfect).
I'm mentioning it for the just in case poor people would come here in search of a solution

I'm actually going through this at the moment. I'm having pain on my left shoulder that radiates to my neck n goes down to my arm. I get muscle spasms between shoulder n neck. I feel tingly n numbness on hand n two fingers. and my arms feels restless n turns my arm n hand a purplish color. .it's messing with arm circulation. I've been getting therapy for this. But I don't know if they're treating this right ,cus they gave me a deep tissue massage, right where the problem is at. And I was in horrible pain for 2 days 😞 I'm pretty worried about this pain , cus the pain goes into chest and on my collar bone. if I try lifting my arm up .. I can't. it feels like something is pulling and pain goes from my shoulder down to my arm n hand.. and into my armpit. it's like I'm trying to do the exercises that they've told me, but if I'm having minimum discomfort at the moment.. as soon as I start moving my around, up or down , I can't cus I can't raise my arm that high and then the pain starts shooting up n getting muscle spasms throughout the rest of the day. it hurts to even get up from a chair, out of bed 😫😫😫

As someone who's had TOS on and off for the last 8 years, I can assure everyone that the best way to treat TOS is to not get TOS.
