Most people understand pain, almost nobody knows the suffering caused by vertigo. It’s horrendous, it makes you feel like you’re about to lose your mind, forgetting who you are.
Shout out to anyone experiencing it: you’re not alone, it won’t last forever and you’re so strong! ❤

Same here. I've been suffering for four years already. I was in college when i first experienced vertigo. Almost 1 month akong nahihilo and every year talaga siya umaataki.
And this year ko lang siya pina check. Done ct scan and im all clear. Went to my ENT and he gave me betahistine for 1 week. Im on my 4th day of medication and still nahihilo pa rin 😢
2weeks na din akong ganito 😭

Your video. I did all the exercises a few times. Within 24 hours the vertigo was gonzo. Thank you! Thank you so much. I had a concussion in 2005. Got a simple cold a few weeks ago. Dehydrated myself by accident, then vertigo followed. This video was life changing for me. Thanks! I wish I could send you money for what this video did for me.

I woke up in the middle of the night with positional vertigo and turning over in bed felt like I was going to spin out of control. My eyes were jumping and the whole room felt like it was going in circles. I’ve had this before so I knew what was going on. I did your ear stretching exercises and it immediately helped. I actually heard and felt the “pop”. I can turn my head now with no dizziness. Thank you!!!!!

Same here, got up to use the bathroom the other night and had “strobe lights” or “fireworks” with electrical shocks going off in my head and a strong force as if someone pushed me straight back on the bed ! I’m a nurse and I thought I was having a stroke 🤷🏼‍♀️
      Miserable and totally debilitating!
I did the epley maneuver from another RUclips video, (a young woman that’s a physical therapist) she gives an excellent presentation on her bed at home and also explains the process of getting those crystals back in place by using a model of the ear.
It helped tremendously with the “strobe lights” but I’m still having some dizziness if I look up or bend over, this video has assured me to just keep repeating the maneuver until it’s gone!!
Although it’s really hard to make myself be so miserable 😩
Hopefully the throwing up is over 😞
Good luck, I feel for ya !

I am absolutely shocked this worked. I've been dealing with on and off vertigo for 5 or so years. It usually does not last more than 1 day before I go back to normal but recently it has gotten worse. I was unable to lay down at all because the room would spin. I did this excercise 3 times. Extremely difficult the first time trying to maintain position when everything is spinning but by the 3rd time I noticed there was nearly no dizzyness left. I went to lay down in bed like normal and nothing. No dizzyness at all. If you are worried about having to trigger symptoms during the excercise start out by staying in position as long as you can before its too much then just keep repeating. It genuinely works and I'm so damn happy I found this video. Thank you so much.

      @murdurburd9422 Год назад +10

@@robethoh Yes. All 3 exercises each session. Each position I stayed in until the dizziness stopped. The first few times were very difficult since that is when my dizziness was at its peak. It became easier to do each session. Eventually after about 40 or so minutes of repeating the positions the dizziness went away and I was able to lay down, sit up and stand up with no dizziness. I've only had my vertigo come back once since I made my first comment 4 months ago. I repeated the positions again for about 10-15 minutes that time and the dizziness went away again.

The fact that I had HIGH doubts this would work & you just completely healed me 😢… You have no idea how happy you ( & YT) have made me & how truly grateful I am. Like, I’ve really been struggling w/this vertigo for like 6 months now, in & out the hospital just to be sent home w/no results. It got even worse after I caught Covid & all it took was a little eye exercise. This speaks volumes in so many ways about healthcare… Then the Drs want to tell you to stay off Google, but Google is what led me to learning about VRT, which led me to YT, which led me to YOU, which led me to being free of vertigo!! I thank you so so much sir for this information as I really thought my health was declining & I was officially growing old at the age of 36! 😩…You are very appreciated bc I feel like my young energetic self again, so for that, you have earned yourself a new subscriber! I have checked with my primary and am waiting to hear back. I had my first "attack" on 6/30, I thought the floor was going to hit my face (or vice versa)-It's worse upon awakening and subsides after I am up and about. I came across this video and I remembered my sister having attacks about 15 years ago and talking about crystals. I thought she was exaggerating. Well, apparently this runs in the family bc now I am experiencing exactly that. Please keep posting, it is so comforting just listening to someone who has been through this or treated others with this condition. (praying hands.)

To visualize this better: what he is doing at every turned head interval is letting the crystal in the ear drum move from one side of the ear canal to another.. see it in your mind as a floating ball in a maze, as the head turns the floating ball follows the ear canal further inside the winding canal to its resting destination.. this is why you need to wait in between turns, so that the crystal can travel through the fluid

Referred to all kind of specialist, except bone doctor, no doctors said that the dizziness is from my neck, until five years ago after my nagging complaint, I had a MRI.taken, was confirmed that I have degeneration on my neck. The only solution is physiotherapy. You explained it so well. You have helped a lot of silent sufferers.

I’ve been dealing with vertigo for almost a year. Cannot navigate stairs or drive. Basically I’m sequestered to my bedroom. While there is some dizziness at times, it’s more of a falling sensation and in different directions, to the point I sometimes go down or against the wall and struggle to pry myself up/away. It can take 2-3 minutes to pass. The symptoms are usually worse when I first get up but also strike out of the blue. Adjustments to c1 and 2 help, balance exercises help, eye exercises help but they are all incremental. I followed your instructions, when I tried the modified expletive there was no dizzy sensation and walking was easier to my surprise. I’m going to do them several times and see if the symptoms lessen. Thanks and God bless!

I was surprised but happy to see this video come up in my feed. I’ve been dealing with dizziness issues for a few yrs now starting with the fact that I have a totally occluded left carotid artery of my neck. These issues didn’t manifest themselves until after I was well into my 50’s and I’ll be 60 next week. I’ve been to vestibular therapy over a period of time but recently my dizziness came back seemingly stronger than previous times. They gave me these same exercises to do at home but I failed to keep doing them but will definitely try to reimplement them into my life. Lastly, I don’t know if anyone else deals with this but certain foods seem to trigger my dizziness, this became more prevalent after I contracted Covid in May of 2020 so I’ve had to drastically change what I eat and drink for that matter. No more coffee or sweets and spicy food as well. My A1C was a bit high but I was able to bring it back down without medication and not sure if that was or is a contributing factor. ❤ Stay healthy folks, health is wealth! 🙏🏿

It would also be worthwhile mentioning "Meniere's Syndrome". It's a combination of tinitus (in one or both ears) and damage to the inner ear balance system. Fullness in a particular ear or even both (feels like water trapped within the ear after swimming) is one of the symptoms. High sodium intake (salt) with food (imbibe no more the 1500mg per day, that's a tea spoon) exacerbates the situation. The fluid balance within your inner ear balance system is adversely affected. This causes conflicting signals to your brain that then leads to both extreme vertigo, nausea and pain often to the point of dropping to the ground. I've found that cutting out as much as possible, any added sodium to food and eating fresh food (not processed foods) cured 95% of the extremes of vertigo. Moderate exercise (walking for an hour a day) also assists. Too much time viewing digital devices can bring on feelings of nausea and vertigo, especially if there is a lot of movement being viewed. so be aware of this as well. Look after your eyesight as it assists in reducing the effects of vertigo. Hope this assists.

my situation isn't vertigo. its not triggered by motion. it doesn't go away. its constant dizziness that fluctuates only in severity. the only time i don't feel dizzy is when i'm asleep. it intensifies with alcohol. one drink will make me nauseous and vomit for hours. so, i haven't had a drink in 12 years. i've had this condition since march of 2009. i've been to several doctors and emergency rooms and none of them give a damn. i've had several brain-scan MRIs scheduled but ALL OF THEM fell through for reasons i can't control. one of those reasons is my dizziness prevents me from lying still long enough for the MRI. another reason - i don't have a ride home. the medical industry comes up with excuse after excuse not to treat me.
I'M DESPERATE FOR HELP! i know i can't be the first person in medical history with these symptoms. but no doctor cares enough to even do any research! i've been suffering with this HORROR for every second of every day for 12 YEARS! i wish the hell someone would HELP ME!

I've been struggling for a few weeks. Pulling on the ears DID have the side benefit you mentioned. The eye exercises were painful but in a good way like how general body exercises are painful. It helped me realize that I've got some muscles to work. The positional exercises are working and I can't thank you enough.

Hello Pam, may I ask you a question, just about to attempt these positional exercises so had my husband by my side....he then said to me 'these are for when you are in an attack, not for just feeling vertigo symptoms'. So i didn't go thru with the positional exercises......so disappointed as I had worked up the nerve to go thru with them over 2 days! Were you literally having an 'attack' or were you just doing exercises as you are working thru your Vertigo? kindest regards, from Australia, Jo

I have had vertigo for almost 2 years. neurologist says he can see nothing after an mri. therapy I did exercises but we nothing like you've shown. they "tested" me for virtigo and said I didn't have anything wrong with the crystals in the ears. I am very frustrated, I've already fallen and broken my shoulder and the walls and I have become well acquainted. my life as I know it has stopped all together, I can't drive and that's killing me because I'm a person always on the go. I will absolutely try your exercised and hope and pray that they work. I'm tired of going to doctors offices in a wheel chair because I don't have a steady gait. thank you for posting this video and giving me some hope that this will be over with soon. thank you.

Truly thought I was going to be one of those unlucky people it wouldn't work on, but it did😂AND the spins weren't even that bad whilst doing the maneuver.
I'm going to continue doing these modified maneuvers once daily to stay in touch.......only on my 2nd day and I'm really believing I'll probably be waaaay over the vertigo before the 10 days are over.

I've had, maybe a dozen attacks over the years. It comes so suddenly and wipes me out for an entire day. One night it happened while I was brushing my teeth, of all things. Suddenly it seemed like my eyes were spinning and I could not go to work the next day.
Thanks for your video. I'll remember these tips next time it happens. My main problem is, when it happens, I can barely even sit upright without vomiting. Lying still is my best approach until it passes. Fortunately my attacks are rare and, usually the symptoms completely disappear by the next day. What worries me though is that, one day I may need to go somewhere urgently and then I have an attack. I am stranded!

Nausea was just so heavy, spinning went from bad to worse like I have to keep my eyes closed because I just couldn’t stand it. I have glue ear when I was very young & then I use to get ear aches when I used to travel on an old airline Ansett & the noise of the plane was just so sharp for me so I just travelled on Air NZ & they still hand out their lollies that’s so good for your ears too.
