I’ve had the pleasure of watching both petrucci and GG live,for how good John Petrucci is,he was fucking crap live,Guthrie on the other hand,never played a bum note.The only guitarist I can put aside gg is JOE SATRIANI,He is the real daddy
When we are talking about “masters”, I think it really comes down to personal preference. Max is the most engaging guitarist to me. I prefer his lead work over anyone else’s I’ve ever heard. After discovering him, most other guitarists are kind of boring for me. 🤷♂️
