The Watergate scandal began early in the morning of June 17, 1972 and in August 1974, after his role in the conspiracy was revealed, Nixon resigned. On July 27, 29, and 30, 1974, the Committee approved three articles of impeachment against Nixon, for obstruction of justice, abuse of power, and contempt of Congress, and reported those articles to the House of Representatives. Congress can charge him, the investigators are suppose to show their findings when the investigation ends and then Congress has to decide what to do. That's how it was with Nixon, that's how it will most likely be in this case as well.

Rebecca M I agree with you. He's done quite a few of his monologues like this one. His physical comedy, his facial expressions, his impressions are on point...etc. It just amazes me how he always out does himself every time. I do like James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jimmy Fallon too, but Steve tops them all as far as late night show comedian hosts. He's the whole package. Hilarious!😅 He's been nominated for an Emmy award this year, which I believe he WILL win. I WISH my family and I could go to his show and see him.🙄

Germany's imperial days are thankfully over. The US are the only remaining super power and use their military all over the world to project power.
