When yous getting an OnlyFans side business 😂 I’d sub
Nice one, had a look at an old video ( popular ) and was not disappointed to hear an eloquent and evocative description of a dog.
So I had to subscribe.
Legend has it that Dave will only take on jobs that are within 100 meters of a pub and his quotes are in ABV instead of GBP.
You need real ale for a real old skool electrician 🔌🔥
@@Arachnoid_of_the_underverse hahaha
like watching Dave & Nige at school on best behaviour without any swear words :)
After sharing the double bed Adams probably had enough of rear entry 🤣🤣🤣
Corey is good at smashing back doors in ;)
😂
😳adam no more sparking ⚡️😂🏃🏻 ⚡️
Adams boss is well BONDDUUU!!! 😂😂😂
I love Nigel, everything is done in his own time... Legend...
Dont order new labels until the new ammendment is out, I have been told there will be changes, I believe it was insinuated to me that the way in which we give the information has changed, so I take that as all the RCD labels etc can be given to the customer on a sheet rather than stuck to the consumer unit..
Hope you’re right. I hate sticking ugly stickers over a fresh board change.
@@kirkhamandy 🥺
@@kirkhamandy How long before a braille versions are also required?!
Adam getting to practice his conduit skills even in the hotel room. Dedication
7:24 Here's the legend 😆😆😆
Can't have rear entry at night AND in the morning... That is just too much Nick... You are insatiable.
It’s much easier to do an RCD test on either an rcbo or an RCD by doing the test at the fuse board directly from each breaker or RCD. You can do a whole board of rcbo in five minutes.
I brought this up to my mentor but he argued against it and favours testing from the end of line i wonder what the pros and cons are?
"accidently ordered a double bed " yeah right ok .....honest mistake eh nick ????
“Oh no I’m so sorry Adam I accidentally got a room with a double bed”
Cable back mountain 😂
Haha, I was thinking the same. Hope he didn't wake up with his hand between two pillows.
love the DSES style camerawork
I hope Adam gets his Xmas bonus this year……. Putting up with your snoring hahahahaha. Nick, you should have took a broom to bed and poked him in the night lol
Employer exploiting the working class init bro 🤣
just completed a D B change in a pub overnight job now a dawn chorus from a solo Blackbird is serenading me to sleep.
Excellent video, good to see Greg Davies up helping 😂, how’s Adam progressing with his college/NVQ??
Love a Metrel tester , so nice with the touch screen.Great kit
Yo Mr Bundy,
Please could you do a test on fire sealant in your unit .?
Dave & Nige are legends great video guys
Here it comes…….The Pensioners day out, with Nick and Adam ….👍🇮🇲😜
I have been an Electrician in Canada for almost 50 years, interesting to see the different methods used in the UK. We have a couple of guys working here from the UK, they are always talking about the testing you do when the job is complete. I tell them "not here boys". 😁😁😁
😮
Same here in Belgium .. we don't do EICR's ( most sparkys don't even have such fancy tester also ) . But inspector checks general isolation value and earthing . ( Every new installation / rewire needs inspection of 3th party organisation wich is valid for 25 years ) Also we need to make schematics( drawings ) of the fuses and where switches/lamps/sockerts are located on blueprints of the house etc ..
So how are you conforming that what you did was safe??
I was the same when I went to the US from the UK and found testing was basically non-existent. Arguably some things are safer in NA but things back in the UK make much more sense to me.
@@angellino1 We don't have to have a third party to confirm it is safely installed, I sign an affidavit that it has been.
Weird seeing Dave not in 240p, good job guys 👍
Adam getting caught with only 2 points of contact 😂😂
😂🤣😂 Double bed made me laugh that did.
Great to see two of the best in one video excellent gents.
Hi mate it was nice to meet you at expert electrical Mo great video loads information
Double bed, by mistake, bet it was the cheaper option :) or.............. ;p good vid tho guys.keep up the good work.
33:45 when i start working for myself im gonna get a picture printed and put that in the van haha
Great video, I even got that sense of satisfaction when you finish a rewire and it’s all fresh and new, great feeling init 😂
22:52 How about a short peice of 16mm earth hanging out of an unused earthing terminal.
I enjoyed that, don’t watch enough of daves videos there a funny pair tho 😂😂😂
For some unknown reason, I wasn't subscribed to you Nick! (I blame those pesky Russian bot farms). Anyway, it's nice to see you and Adam helping out the elderly who, let's face it, look very lost and have wondered out of their safe zone!
Top content as per and with the added bonus of a future sex tape to be sent viral, unless Adam gets his huge overdue bonus.
mate I have slept in the same bed as me boss many times no harm in that but normaly its allways a good place with good food close by we did a month in a travel lodge next to a chain pub bu the end of the month we knew what to drink and eat for our 15 bucks we got smashed that month with my boy 1 get 1 free for pizza hut and KFC vouchers we had a top month
Yeh accident nah..
Dream team !.
If those old cables going to the board are directly on the wall behind with new switch then that's fine as that's a zone
Did Dave make a cheeky phone call to the hotel??
You've beaten Jordans post again by minutes 🤣
Great work and thanks for sharing this with us take care
Nick, I remember you save all the spare copper at your warehouse. Did you know scrap metal is sky high. Just giving you a heads up 👍
You tight asss get that lad his own room
Your loving it 😂 job done
Congratulations guys.
Talking of testing we did a generator test by switching off the incomer to the builder but due to a fault on the switchgear we back fed and took out the DNO fuses at the substation. Cue grumpy emails from SSEN
Interesting. I've just been part of an install with a generator change over switch fitted to allow factory to run off generator if needed. However no generator has been chosen yet (by client not contractor) and was curious what the requirements are for selecting right one and I believe that separate earthing arrangements, such as earth electrode, should be good installed for when the installation needs to run off the alternative (generator) supply. Can you or anyone else offer advice? Cheers
I also use tough built belts an bags.
Great Lads
Like the look of that feral set up. You got a link to it
if we was ever a way for 3 or 4 or a week air b&b for the week a house proper food more beer better chill out
for the evening I was the chef was 4 of us in this house we did a massive shop for the tea and to make lunch we ate like kings alao done a travel lodge for a month and pub food for most would not do that again but air bandb
How else would you fix a wooden board than with nails 🤣
I don’t think they had electric drills in them days. Or no power. Certainly no batteries tools
the constant reminder not to swear🤣🤣
If its a pme system and N-E are connected together, shouldn't the PFC and PSC measure the same? Great to see dave and nigel 😀
U do a really good job on here mate am a big fan of u do a really good job on here mate form Greg Bouchard am a big fan of u do a really good job on here mate form Greg Bouchard keep up the good work on here mate
Honestly I find the slotted pozi drivers absolutely naff even taking care to get them in correctly. I torque it up with the flathead, no slipping with that.
nice work as always 👍🏾
Keep ere lite ,
Is he wearing a McDonald's hat? I love it.
Not the first time I've seen the Pfc With parallel paths coming out less than the Pfc WITHOUT parallel paths. I assume the property has utilities supplied in plastic pipes, but even so, it doesn't give great confidence in the accuracy of the tester. I would expect at least an equal result. It's not as if there had been time for the conductors to warm up and increase resistance.
Kirchoffs law
Toughbuilt gear are great
Wow! How close was the transformer to the property Nick? Did I hear David correctly 4.22kA pscc current. What were the size of the mains cable into the property ?
We are lucky to get more than about 2kA here with the transformer right outside domestic installations. 🤣
Colour screen on a tester shouldn't make any real difference to battery life, the LCD takes bugger all power most is taken by the backlight which is the same for both mono and colour screens.
You need a mic set …
I like broke back electrical better 😂
With reference to the fire seal, does it not also stop smoke and heat escaping the fuse board and getting into the joists and voids.
What is the make and model of the floodlight used at time 11:36 please? - looks very useful for lighting up the area.
Unilite SLR-4400 or SLR-6000
Very expensive light, above my pay grade
Wheres those f*cking pensioners? 😆😆😆
OK so you've mentioned that the cavite coming out aren't in any sort of zone, looking at mine they seem to go out into the cavity and then up the wall to the first floor 😯
It's that allowed?
Also, what fixings are they that you use to hold the conduit to the walls?
Thanks
Yes mate as the depth of the cables in more than 50mm, and it’s all round band with screws dude 👍
@@NBundyElectrical thanks 👍
awesome video 😎
Does dave go to church communion & to sing his hymns to the lord jesus christ 🤔
Better off doing the trip test at the board
Good idea with the magnet attached to light stand. I assume that’s a mod you did? Do you have a link to what you bought?
No mate that’s how it came, it’s slr6000
Unilite
Wow, those (2+1) meter tail cleats/clamps are neat! Any links please? Tried a search to no avail..............
They are swa Cletes mate 👍
They are just swa cleats
Link to the crimps takes you to the wrong product.
you forgot to remove the gas and water bonding
Any reason why you didn’t spec the smaller RCBOs?
tha screwdrive only goes as low as 1.7 not 1.2 i have the same one
Why don’t you do your r1/r2 and IR’s before connecting up the board
I agree, R1R2 aswell
First 10 views,I've never been this early😂
The purpose of regulation 421.1.201 is to contain a fire within the consumer unit should one ever start. It seems bizarre to bring the cables in through a massive gaping hole at the rear and not reinstate the fire integrity of the consumer unit. I hope you used something by to fire seal the hole where the cable pass through into the consumer unit.
Not true . Only requirement is to be made of a non combustible material . It’s a myth . Only IP rating required
@@robswingler And why do you think it’s needs to be made from a non combustion material.
@@alvina69 so it wont set on fire . Hager have done this in myth busters on professional electrician videos and say only ip rating is required and Wylex have RUclips videos on their channel showing that it makes no difference
@@robswingler The regulation’s there to contain a fire, seems pointless to then just wack a massive hole in the back of something that’s supposed to keep a fire in.
@@alvina69 reg 421.1.201 doesn’t say contain fire anywhere in it . Go watch them videos I told you about and you’ll see for your self
Your Megger not hot auto test??
Watch Artisan Electrics and them lads have mic’s and I can hear their every word … you bad sound .
So who spooned who?
Stop calling ferrules "crimps"😉
Why not to instal LD2 smoke detectors? It's just one more in a living room.
Shouldn’t you only test if you have a load on the cable?
Don’t see how you could of got the room type wrong…..saving money I think. Could you not of changed when you checked in or go to another hotel that has the availability?? Poor show especially since the young fella is due decent digs when working away from home.
