It’s #TestTuesday!I made a little @kroger run and came across a new Product from @gardein 💚
Did you know they had a Chick’n Filet out?!? The packaging had me intrigued because it looks like a sandwich from Chik-fil-a lol. Here is my review of Gardein Ultimate Plant-based Chick’n Filets review.

Recently just tried it and they were really good!! I thought it would look more like the package lol but it was still good

I just had these today and was blown away! I cooked it in the air fryer and it was perfect!

I prefer them in the air fryer. It solves that little problem with the undercooked flour. They are delicious

Bought this as a meat alternative because I have severe gout. Trying to greatly reduce my diet. Not 100 percent veggie but 80 percent for sure.

These are amazing. Best commercial fake meat product I've ever tasted. It's literally 95% of what a Popeyes Chicken sandwich tastes like (without being gamey). Only downside is high sodium content. Definitely noticed heart rate elevation 30 min after eating.
That is so true. I try to space out how frequently I eat frozen products for that very reason. Sodium content sneaks in.

Thankfully, the local target in my neighborhood carries these bags. I’m gonna get me one of these and make a vegan chicken sandwich and pretend it’s from Popeyes 😂😂😂

Nice review but I cooked it in my air fryer and it was crispy crunchy and not slightly soft or mushy at all , if u think it's even a little soft then a person just Simply didn't Cook it long enough to crisp up properly...cos I cooked it for the first time and it was giving crispy crunchy and crispyChickenSandwhichy allll the way lol 😆 tasted like a regular chicken pattie from crown fried /halal spot very tasty

@@FrobulousVeggies yesss and as a starter try Morning Star's buffalo plant based chicken pattie it's thinner and flatter and cooks in like 7 mins I guess u can practice with that and it really tastes just like chicken maybe u can review that one too air fryer style haha 😆

First taste: The best! They fixed the texture problem with the older Gardein, and the seasoning is excellent. Second and third passes, though: The inner texture still seems Gardein, which means a bit jellyish sometimes, and the flavor of the meat itself is not that appealing. I may have to go back to 365 as my main. Impossible is decent when baked. Yummi and Incogmeato, too.
I’ve noticed that too. Happy to know they’re always improving to make their products taste even better for us.

That’s a great question. It’s been a while since I’ve tried those so I may need to do a review comparing them and maybe one more product to see what is the best

It's delicious! I lay mine on brioche bread |Nature's Own|, romaine lettuce and or leftover spinach etc. And smudge of the new plant based Nature's Valley dressing.
*I don't want anyone touching my food anymore than they have to. Drive thrus are a big no no for me.*
The only way I would have give it 4 stars 🌟 is because I'm still wondering where the other Filet is. 3 is such a "odd" number.

Yes, still waiting for the other filet lol. We need one more in the bag. I love it on salads as well. Gives me a crispy “chicken” salad vibe I used to eat years ago before this veggie journey.

I'm a Pescatarian. I still enjoy seafood and the occasional cheese. I do like the vegetarian cheese sometimes the orange cheese. Probably the best I can do is Vegetarian eventually.
But hey, I'm ahead of so many.♡
That was the route I went before going completely Vegan. I was Pescatarian and then was Vegetarian for like 7 years before being completely Vegan now. I always feel like that the best way to start so that you can ease into this lifestyle change.

Then I suggest you read up on toxic seed oils, hart disease etc. outside of virgin Olive oil and virgin coconut / MCT oils,

Yes, I highly recommend an air fryer as well. I got the Cosori 3.7QT Knob-black Air Fryer from Amazon and I am super happy with it. It's been going strong for a year so far.

You did not really show the filet....you showed a tiny piece.
That’s true. In my Instagram reel for this review, I have more angles of the filet as I cooked it. That may work for what you’re looking for.
