Its great that the cavalry comes with the infantry! Also the casualties is a nice inclusion too! That pic from Heaven and Earth is of the Uesugi Clan. It was about the Uesugi Clan fighting off the Takeda Clan. Fantastic movie!
There doesn't seem to be any rule sets made for large scale samurai warfare in this period. Mostly seen people trying to bend existing rule sets to fit.
I am very keen on these. Would much rather have enough sashimonons for each figure though (except the archers as I have read that they could interfere with the bow). I think Pendraken do 10mm metal sashimonos but they are a bit expensive at £2 for 10!
Nice video Unclecuthulu! Banners - Sashimono, I think. As far as samurai movies go, not sure if you've checked them out. I can't recommend Akira Kurasawa's Ran and Kagemusha enough. Same guy who did Seven Samurai. Fantasticles!!
Cheers, I did know the name written down I just couldn't think of the pronouncing it. Yep watched loads of Samurai movies and do love Ran. Thanks for your comment.s
In the Senguko period Handguns were in high demand. Look at the invasion of Korea, Handguns were specifically requested as reinforcements, as many as you can get. The reason why certain Daimyos converted was for access to more handguns.

The down under site had them for 53dollars for 224 figures. Surely the instantaneous army will entice some buyers?

Little wars tv do mention Killer Katanas, but I've not looked at it.
@@Unclecthulu KK is not an easy ruleset to find.
