The greatest hard rock band who ever played music. This whole gig was INSANE in front of an amazing crowd of YOUNG Argentinians. Can you even imagine the adrenalin rush the guys got playing to a live audience that size...? Brian, Angus, Malcolm(RIP), Phil and Cliff, absolute legends of hard rock and I salute you all!

I met Brian Johnson in an Applebee's in Tampa. We had a beer and shot the shit. Truly down to Earth nice guy! Half the restaurant didn't recognize him and I never acted like a fan. He appreciated that.
I just found this reaction and my dear you are priceless!!!!!! Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸

You are one lucky guy. I saw AC/DC about 1979 during their Highway to Hell tour in San Diego but was in a half sports arena . They werent even the headliner.

I have seen ACDC 4 times in the UK. If I had one regret is was not going to see them play in Argentina.
I've been able to find a few clips from that concert.... and just everything about it was absolutely unbelievable. So much energy, so much talent, and then there was AC/DC on stage. Super, suuuuper jelly

I'm american and obviously a huge AC/DC fan but I'd agree 100%. Not only were the fans unbelievable. This might have been the greatest rock n roll concert of all time.
My stepson said his baseball coach always talked about ACDC and he thought they were a "scrub band" I chose this video to show him lol. He was blown away. Can deny a lot but not this crowd...........
From a brit I'd probably have to agree. But the rock concert that russia held after the wall came down was epic.
And that M'Dear is exactly how you are supposed to feel when hearing Rosie for the first time....you will never forget that feeling now....I have that feeling now since 1977....my first hearing!
At 13 in 77" was the first time I heard this song and consequently one of my first songs I learned on guitar in 1978
ACDC when they came out. I was a huge fan. They were no stop rock at its best. Bon would be very proud ❤

Brian Johnson is the replacement of singer Bon Scott. I highly recommend the live video of the band driving down the street "Long Way To The Top If You Want To Rock N Roll." Being a aspiring artist you can relate to lyrics. Not many R and R songs have a bag pipe in it. 2 huge thumbs up!

I saw them late 70's at Wembley when they were support for a Keith Moonless Who. I was never a big fan, but they blew the Who away. Bon Scott, owned wembley just like he woud own a small club
I was never a fan til I saw them live. Best live band ever.
I was just starting to get into AC/DC in the late 70s when Bon died. His voice was so utterly unique that I thought they’d never replace him. But then they found Jonna. To this day I don’t know whose voice I prefer. Bon on some songs, Brian on others. Both legends.
They are awesome live. So glad I got a chance to experience it! Yes his energy is amazing...

I saw them 3 times before they were huge but were huge in our small TX city. Angus run up & down the aisles & we could touch him. When Brian took over singing (RIP Bon) I was pleased he sounded so much like Bon. But the Young's asked Bon's Mom if she thought they should go on without him & she said "Yes. He'd want that" & so they did.

It's very inspiring!!!! We are all going to be old someday - and it's only your body that gets older - not our spirit. Look at all the young people at this concert!!!!?? I LOVE that you picked up on the Chuck Berry thing.. almost everyone misses that. This band has a deep connection to blues and early rock - i hear Chuck Berry, John Lee Hooker in their music, even some Cab Calloway in the beginning of this song. This music is timeless. Interviews they are very grateful and always laughing. 2 guitarists are brothers, Small 5'1" and 5'3" or so, Angus Young is always voted one of the best guitarists.

AC DC has been one of my favorite bands since I was a kid in the 70's, their music is just unbelievable and just raw and powerful. Oh I wish I'd have seen them but never again.

AND DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND WATCH THE WHOLE SHOW. 2 SOLID HOURS OF NOTHING BUT KILLING IT, ALL OF THEM. AND WHAT A GREAT REACTION BY YOU, WE SHOULD ALL HAVE THAT WISH COME TRUE. KEEP IT UP SISTER.
Angus Young is a much better guitarist than many people think. He's also a very humble bloke. The River Plate show was an occasion when everything slotted perfectly into place. The crowd were fantastic.
Geoff Poole Absolutely the most incredible crowd I have ever witnessed. And yes one of the most interesting things about Angus is how he can be such a wild man once he put the Schoolboy uniform on, and straps his SG on. But if you ever meet him in person, or even 5 minutes before he walks on stage he is a very quite reserved person, who likes to sip his tea (instead of a bottle of whiskey).

Angus Young the lead guitarist aka "Grandpa" from the beginning until the last show hit the stage running from start to finish and never stopped moving the entire time. I've heard you mention how wild he is. thats only onstage. he doesn't drink or do drugs. owns a sheep ranch, has been married to the same woman forever and has like 9 kids lol. He's quite humble and soft spoken sitting back stage sipping hot tea before the show starts.
Love it. The young lady's got game. Get her a talk show. Well done!

Funny.. this concert was in 2009.. at that age is what you kept sayin,... just saw these guys in California about 3 weeks ago (powertrip 2023).. they are still dominating.. truly blessed to be the best..
