I've seen AC/DC Live a bunch of times and it was better than i could relate with words. However, Live at River Plate, which I own, is the best damn rock n roll concert I've seen in my life. If I'd of known it was going off like this I'd of been there.

Well , in 79 I was 16 I drove a 350 chev and acdc had 3 or 4 albums out with Bon Scott He died This is the tribute album It gives me chills up and down my spine. Their critically acclaimed album from the early days is Powerage . Bon Scott is a story teller a raconteur . His voice has treble bass and mid ranges . This guy Brian Johnson is pure power . The rythym guitarist Is Malcolm young , he's the backbone of the band . He recently passed . This is a great great blues based rock and roll band . I saw this concert twice in 1980 after the band buried the original singer in 1980 . Malcolm was playing a Gretsch white falcon . Look that baby up

I was always an AC/DC fan. My future wife, not so much...
After Bon Scott died, I took her, on our first date, to see the Hells Bells concert at the Cow Palace in South SF...
It started much more dramatic than this, however.
First, there was a spotlight on the bell
Next, Johnson came out with a big hammer and started pounding it... the stage was dark except for the bell and him.
Next, a new spotlight on Angus with the opening intro...
Next, the stage was flooded with the whole band as the song moved forward!
Greatest opening I could've imagined! She and I still talk about it to this day!!! That was in '80!
    ... and she doesn't care for AC/DC!
