The train crashes, and the middle screen splits in half, and the train bursts on stage. You think to yourself.... it can't get crazier than that, only to see a giant Rosie riding the train during Whole Lotta Rosie.
I had the privilege to see AC/DC live back in 1990 (with singer Brian Johnson that was in this video). One of the things I love about this band is just how great they sound live. I know a lot of bands sound good live, but I think that among the concerts I have seen, AC/DC has just about the best live sound of all, possibly tied with Pink Floyd. Everything is so perfectly on the beat and the rhythm is always right in the pocket so that it doesn't sound muddy or sloppy. Keep up all the great work!
Whole Lotta Rosie was the first AC/DC song I ever heard back in '77. A friend recorded it off FM radio onto a Red Ampex C45 cassette. That's the effect it had on me, 42 years later I remember the damn cassette color! I hope 42 years from now, you remember Rosie's TaTas swaying on a locomotive! Thanks my hard rocking brother man!!
This was one of my first favorite ac dc songs. I can remember in 1979 a schoolmate asking me to name 3 ac dc songs. I said big balls, highway to hell and rosie
Yeah man! I was at the New Zealand version of this same concert! I don't know no other band that had a full size train crash on the stage outta nowhere! And then Rosie started to inflate! There were guys holding her legs making her bob up and down in time! Best concert so far, that same one! You da man Jamal
Hey. the montana farmer here. ACDC is my all time favorite band. You just made my night with this selection. I am fighting cancer every day and watching you every day. Thank you for making my days a little better with every song. You are a delight.
I don't know how it's done, but Rosie's foot keeps time through the whole song! I saw them live in Amsterdam, and it was amazing! The energy, the feel-good vibes, just a joy!
My fave AC/DC live performance 🤘🤘 glad you did this Wish more people got into metal music and went to concerts the energy in metal concerts are INSANE !!!!!!!!
My best friend in the world(who has since died of a opioid overdose) used to listen to the original version of this song on his moms Panasonic stereo before school after she left for work. Great memories and great reaction vid.
I went to an AC/DC concert in 1979 when Bon Scott the singer; the "Highway To Hell" tour. The only drink the arena was selling was orange juice. During one of the songs while Angus was jamming someone from the audience threw their orange juice at him, and without missing a lick he used the tuning head of his guitar to whack the cup away. My initial thought was who would throw their orange juice at Angus and risk making his guitar sticky so he couldn't jam? Then I was impressed with Angus for seeing the cup coming and whacking it away, all while he was jamming.

So, I went to the concert of this tour about 10 years ago. It was the Black Ice tour. There title track of the album is Rock 'n' Roll Train hence the train. BUT they were a few guys moving the legs, the arms, and the body of Rosie like a puppet along with like a massive air blower.
Brother-man! I'm a roadie in Chicago and was a set carp on that tour. She inflated from inside the train and one dude was inside to help it pop out when she inflated. She was supported by two sets of ropes each with a couple guys pilling and swaying here to the song while I tapped the boot manually with a grip on an attached rope and a D-ring. After the song, she was deflated by opening up grand zippers and the ropes were let in. We all then proceeded to stuff her into a hamper until next load in. Great times!
