Bon Scott was amazing, I was in 6th grade when he passed. Brian Johnson came in and kept the band going. I am a fan of both singers. Johnson came in and had to deliver, the pressure he must've been under to keep AC/DC going ,after they lost Bon, had to be immense. They are still rocking 40 years later. I thank Brian Johnson for the courage to take the position as the lead singer after Bon passed. I thank AC/DC for the decades of enjoyable music that makes my days better . RIP Malcolm and Bon, rocking in a better place. We miss you both.

Great reaction! Spooky story to the two singers Bon and Brian. Bon saw Brian in the mid/late 70’s and was impressed by his screaming vocals. It would turn out that Brian was suffering from appendicitis. Bon didn’t know that and told the other members of AC/DC what an awesome singer he was. Brian would end up replacing Bon and adopted the screaming style because of Bon. So, he literally picked his own replacement. I was thrilled to see you react to this song! Warms my heart to hear and see it! Legendary! Humble beginnings! I read somewhere it cost them 350.00 to make this video! I love this band so much! They have never changed, just good hard rock and roll. Thank you for reacting!

Thanks for fulfilling this request Jamel. I, however, love both singers. Bon also saw Brian live and praised Brian's singing and this shocked the band as he had never praised another singer in their presence. So he was the first and only person they called after Bon died for the role as he was the only one Bon praised. So I still consider it prophetic.

The bagpipes in a hard rock song is so unique and definitely a statement, it's them saying "we're already at the top, and we aren't going anywhere". They could do absolutely anything they wanted and sound damn good doing it!

Both bringing their own character and voice to the songs, but there's no denying that Bon Scott AC/DC songs had more "bite" and there was more "versatility" to their music compared to the Johnson era. It's been pretty much a "paint by numbers" ´gig ever after Back in Black.
EDIT: Still wanna give props to Brian Johnson for doing one hell of a job considering the boots he had to fill.

Thank you for showing your appreciation for both versions of this band. I remember seeing them with Bon at the helm back in Australia before they left our shores. Angus had this really long guitar lead that allowed him to jump from table to table during a solo, which meant we all received our own personal solo from him. Everyone in the pub passed his lead around so that he didn't get unplugged! Amazing stuff. We were all shocked to hear of Bon's passing, but the depth of talent within the band allowed them to pick themselves up and restart. The rest is history as they say....

Just an interesting historical sidenote - this is the first rock song ever to feature Scottish Bagpipes, no surprise really when you consider that Bon, Angus and Malcolm were all born in Scotland.

Actually, "Skypilot" by Eric Burden and the Animals has the first Scottish pipes, although technically, Burden secretly recorded the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, and it wasn't done with permission. Maybe the first case of illegal sampling too???
