    I've been tossing around the idea of raptor lining my entire pickup, but haven't pulled the trigger. How has the raptor held up? Does it sun damage easily? Anything a person could do to make it look its best for as long as you can?

      Hi Howie. The paint has been around for a long time now and kept up its reputation with quality. It is UV texted for 5000 continuous hours. Good luck with your project

    How and what kind of paint can I use to put a design or art on top of the black Raptor Liner like you have on the hood of your car?

      Hi Peter. We actually masked off and painted around that vinyl sticker, however you will be able to paint on top of the Raptor with any paint. Just lightly scuff first.

      Yes, you can. Like you said, just prep/sand around the area you want to touch up. Feel free to call us during the week to discuss 03 98777 0960

    Did your decals just stick right onto the raptor liner or did you have to have a different type

    Have you tried this repair with a paint roller? I got my truck painted with raptor liner and the hood has lots of streaking. Not happy with guy that did it, so I was thinking of ordering some tint able raptor liner and paint to match. But I don't have an area to spray. Do you know if rolling it will work? Also, when you sand, do you lose the texture? I would like to keep the same texture and just touch up to cover the streaks. I will sand, but I fear losing the texture, because it might not match. Thanks.

      Unfortunately you will have to scuff up the entire hood rather than touch up with a 2K Raptor paint, can't blend 😫

    • @chriram25
      @chriram25 4 года назад +1

      @@carbuilders1 that's fine. I don't mind doing the entire hood. My concern is how different the texture might look.

      Do a test on something and adjust your air accordingly until the texture is the same...the lower the air the bigger the texture

    So if I want to add another coat of raptor I could get away with scuffing it up with about 100 grit? I feel like under 100 grit the raptor would start to come off and I dont want that. I just want to scuff it and eithier add more raptor or I might be going with monstaliner
