As I understood it , Sir Irfan used 6.2 k factor to get the minimum flow requirement of the system.thanks

Basically, K factor is calculated based on required gpm and pressure. Formula will be Q = K√ P. So, we know Q from one hose i.e., minimum 50gpm and P required will be minimum 65psi for class 2. If u put these data in the formula, u will get 6.2K. Hope u understand.

Why did you consider k factor 6.2 is there any reference?

Sir Irfan my request is you make video how to do manual hydraulic calculation for sprinklers this time considering extra hazard2..thanks sir

The concept is same even if u consider extra hazard occupancy (group 1 or 2). The remotest design area of operation and densities to be considered will be different if you consider Extra hazard. You can watch my videos to understand the same. Watch the below videos and let me know your FEEDBACK in the comment section.
