    I have seen some project they use 100 psi residual pressure and 3 active hydrant total of 1500 gpm. Is there special case to use 100 psi residual pressure for hydrant?

      Yes u r right. Most of the contractors consider 2 remotest hydrants and 100 psi min at remotest hydrant. However as per nfpa 24, only 20 psi is enough at the remotest hydrants while performing the calculations. Regarding no. of hydrants to be considered, we can consider one hydrant for maximum 1500 gpm and run the calculations. 100 psi at remotest hydrant can be considered in special cases like for industrial plants etc but depends on the local codes and regulations

      @@irfancfps Thanks a lot for your reply and effort. I'm trying to find the required number of active hydrant from NFPA 1 and NFPA 24 but it doesn't mention about it. Or is it the designer who will decide how many hydrant will be active for the calculation.

      Yes you are right. This is considered industrial fire fighting as per Saudi aramco

    if we have a Fire Hydrant network connected to the Sprinkler system in a building which is combined system having Fire hose cabinet. Is it not possible to make it together, Like considering one extreme hydrant and one hose cabinet and set of sprinkler in the hydraulic area

      Should not consider like that. Consider various scenarios for each case. perform calculations considering hydrants separately, fhc separately and sprinkler system separately
