    will they upgrade the pump or install a separate system for this expansion, or the capacity of the pump is enough , thank you sir for the informative presentation.

    Hi sir great video. Could you please tell me how do you determine the largest area covered by any sprinkler in the design area? (Point 4).

      It's in NFPA 13, the most hydraulilly demand, usually the farest and highest from the water supply from the base of the building riser.

    Mr. Harland, may I ask, at 8.49 minutes it was stated that there were 2 Tees, but in the end why did it say only 1 tee (10) with a 2 inc pipe schedule 40. or not 2 x 10, forgive me if I'm wrong ,explanation please

    Sir, when doing hydraulic analysis of combined systems, should you include the fire hose stations in the analysis, i.e., 100 gpm, 65 psi?

      When doing calculations check with the AHJ on how to perform them. Each AHJ may have different rules. You need to read the chapter in NFPA 14 and make sure your using the correct edition that complies with your local code requirements. Your local code could be different from NFPA 14 & 13. You alway need to read and re-check since they do make changes to the standards.

    hi, why did you get only 1500ft2 for calculation. why we cant take more than 1500ft2?

    • @icutoo2699
      @icutoo2699 10 месяцев назад

      Typically you want the most economical system, smallest pipe size, smallest pump. The larger the design area the higher the water demand and therefore a more expensive sprinkler system. 1,500 sq.ft. is the smallest area on the graph.

      Thanks for your response. so when we can consider more than 1500 ft2 area for calculation? I mean which industry. @@icutoo2699
