    But if we have multiple floors and the no of nodes are more then we need to enter full details in pipe data

    Thanks Eng, as always your Tutorial is useful, I've duet that why u did not add the other branches as well to the calculation ? maybe I'm wrong but is it correct the other branches will help carrying the water to the operation area? that's why the friction loss will be decreased since all branches will be included (without sprinklers), thanks in advance for clarification if I was wrong ..but just to make sure

    مجهود مشكور عليه يا هندسة. بس سؤال احنا بنزود landing valve مع حسابات المخازن ولا المفروض تبقي حساباتها لوحدها زي الرشاشات العادية.

    Hello, your calculation using 1gpm/ft2 exceeds maximum requirement 0.2gpm/ft2 ordinary group 2 based on sprinkler density area curve. This also above the maximum requirement of 0.4gpm/ft2 as defined in extra hazard group 2. Please clarify, thanks.

    Have you ever try to use Fire pump curves, and if yes can you show us how you do it.

      You can do it in Excel. You need to get the flow and pressure at three conditions: No flow, rated flow, and 150% flow.

    يا هندسة وصححني اذا كنت غلط
    انت اخترت بداية ال k وبعدها حسبت الكثافة
    لكن اللي اعرفه احنا بنحدد الكثافة وبناءا عليها بنختار ال k factor
    اتمنى الاجابة

      في بعض التطبيقات بيديك ال k بشكل مباشر ذي المخازن كدا و ساعتها هنحتاج نحسب الكثافة عشان ندخلها في البرنامج

      Side wall or up right or pendant sprinkler are all the same thing for hydraulic calculations, the important factor is the k factor and sprinkler coverage area
