I have small concern... As you said there is no fire alarm system without panel.. but we can use smoke alam with embedded battery..like stand alone system
Yes u r right but kindly check nfpa 72 whether it is acceptable and let me know.
Hi, can you do a sample design from scratch, like how to layout and their standard distances?
Sure will do
What if the most remote area on-site is less than 1,500 sq. ft.? For example, consider a hotel layout with multiple small rooms separated by partitions, each containing a toilet, along with a corridor. In this scenario, how should the number of sprinklers be determined, and how should the most remote hydraulic calculation area be selected?
thanks mr Irfan, but I have a same question as luislorenzo ? could you explain.
Very helpfull videos Please make videos about the transformers protection water spray system
Very helpful
Really Thank a lot brother. You give all the answer that I have. Just one more question, what is the reference of this calculation from NFAP 13?
thanks for the info, when I solve for 14 sq root of 75 = 121.2 gpm per sprinkler. Am I missing something?
Really helpful ❤ btw, for hydraulic calculation for transformer protection, we should consider all the nozzles to be activated simultaneously, right? Not based on minimum 2500sqft...
Yes we need to include all open nozzles in calculation . The area should be the surface area of the equipments.
thanks bro really helpful :)
Appreciate the feedback!
❤❤❤❤
Thanks. Please do share with others
great!!!!
Thank u. Please do share with others
Excellent Description...💥 Keep continue....👍
Thanks for the feedback
Assalam walaikum bhai Do you know anyone who can do hydrolic calculation for hvws system of fire protection. I need that person
Walekumassalam. Currently no dear. If u have any doubts u can reach out to me
Why are we calculating K.equivalent?? What are we understanding with the value of K equivalvent...?? Is it that our K equvi shall be less 5.6 if we have using K 5.6 sprinkler, and if K equi exceed 5.6 means our calcs is wrong somewhere..
What about hese reel /landing valve demand??
We need to calculate separately
Why it is not having any maximum distance requirement?
Reason I explained in the video. Kindly go through once again. We follow as per nfpa guidelines
Congrats bro, keep going
Thanks
How this 1.1 will come in the formula...
Nice question. It was explained in the video - however if u consider the formula also the result will be same because we need to add 5% + 5%.. try it out and let me know

My website has some technical error. U can watch my videos on my RUclips channel “irfancfps”

💐💐
Iam interested
How do we get pipe size is 32 mm here and previous step 25mm? Just assumption?
I don’t think there is any contradiction. For 25mm size we can go upto 2 sprinklers for 3rd sprinkler we need to use 32mm pipe. Please check “pipe schedule method” video available on nfpa 13 series playlist for better understanding
kindly clarify In which chapter at NFPA 20.
If u watch my full video u will understand bund wall calculation is not available in nfpa 20. However, general practice for sizing the bund wall is explained in the video
when it will start ?
All videos available on my channel irfancfps . Please go through the playlists.
Found your content recently, I have my test coming up so im very grateful for these videos pls keep them coming thank you!

Dear Brother, Our local code has not specified how many remote hydrants I need to consider and what the minimum residual pressure should be. Now, we are planning to design a project (area about 20,000 sq m) with peripheral hydrant system as per local code requirements. Now can you please guide me how many flows and pressures I need to consider as per practical standards. Thanks in advance
Thanks for the query. Minimum residual pressure at remotest hydrant shall be 20psi. If the project is like a camp etc need to calculate the fire flow based on the bldg to bldg distance and bldg area and type of construction. Once we get to know the fire flow then we can consider the number of hydrants accordingly. However if the fire flow / demand requirement is more than 1500 gpm then it is better to consider 2 remotest hydrants. In any case better option would to be consider 2 remotest hydrants for calculations.
Hi, can you recommend a good training institute for CFPS preparations
Please send me an email. I will recommend
Is hydrant and standpipe are same ..
Both not same. For hydrants nfpa 24 to be referred and for standpipe systems like landing valves and hose systems need to refer nfpa 14
@ can you plz make a video of that hydrant vs standpipe system
No sound
