Maybe it is the best explanation, thank you!!! Really, but what about the sizing of pump, if that pump is serving FHC + SPRINKLERS AND + HYDRANT systems together ? Please, respond me
Thank you so much for this video.what if there is a single main line having 52 Hydrant( class 1) for 6.5km long road tunnel( elevation from one portal to the other is 145m , uniform gradient). How will then we calculate
Thanks a lot.Good explanation at all. What about the sizing of pump with sprinklers and stand pipe? Or we just need to sum sprinkler hydrauclic calculation + hydraulic calculation of stand pipe? Hoping you will notice me
Such a wonderful explanation, much appreciated keep it up. if there is one riser serving 9 floors of building and each floor has 4 fire hose cabinets, then what would be the size of main riser a/c to NFPA?
Thank u very much..more of these please ut is very helpful for me as an ME

Excellent explanation and very usefull . Thanks a lot
Thanks
Hi sir, thanks for the video. just a question in 05:19 where did the 0.00271 came from?
refer to 3:47, it is friction loss in pipes
Very informative video👍

Yes you have to sum it.
No. Whichever is greater, which is usually standpipe demand.
great video. But why does the diameter of the pipe changes from 6 inches to 6.065 inches?
6 inches is the nominal diameter size. for friction loss calculations you have to consider internal diameter.
Such a wonderful explanation, much appreciated keep it up.

according to your hydraulic calculations...
Hi what does inside and outside hose meaning ??
Please how u convert static head from 20 meters to 29.4 PSI
10m water height means 1 bar pressure.
1bar = 14.7 psi
ty
please tell how to get 0.00271 psi and 0.00075 psi ?
thank you
Please explain how to get 0.00271 psi & 0.00075 psi. Thank you
refer to 3:47 friction loss formula
Thanks
welcome👍
The 1250 GPM is only for non sprinkled buildings just an fyi
Is this American or British?
Mostly America follows NFPA code and UK with BS EN 12845 code
yes it is American
Any certificates?
Very informative video but for begineers its too fast. Need to slow down to understand all aspects.
Sorry. I dont have basics. Thats why i dont understand anything. Any suggestion to read basics.
