Wow! I have been looking for this exact video for so long. So clear and helpful. Thanks man! Helped me out a ton!
Bro it was so hard to find one myself and it was for a different model. Needed to help out the squad!!
Thanks man! now i know how to do it to my car !
I'm glad I can help. I'll have more videos coming soon to show some more simple fixes.
Could a bad one cause a bad idle? My roma in park or at red lights drop really low almost turning off the car.
Yeah, I had the same idle problem. Try crank relearn and or swap crank sensor
Yeah I would also suggest a crank relearn if you are able to do that.
If the new sensor is the exact one as your old one, do you still need to relearn the crankshaft position?
Yes
Yes you do
is that how to tell if its bad? just looks like it got beat up?
It actually was not bad just beat up like you said. I replaced it with a non-OEM sensor I got from NAPA and that sensor led to a VERY rough idle. So I replaced the old sensor and relearned the crankshaft position on my tuning device and it works perfectly fine now.
when putting the sensor back in there was a small gap in the bottom side (opposite side of bolt) not sure if that’s normal or i’m doing something wrong. i’ve been messing with it for an hour now and i can’t get it to sit flush all the way
I had to play with it for a little bit to get it in. Mine kind of just hit the right hole and slipped in. Did you end up getting it to work?
@ yea, i swapped the gasket from the old one to the new one. funny i tried to put the old one in and i couldn’t get it to line up but when i swapped the gaskets it fell right in
@@KoolestKidzOnTheBlokthat’s weird I didn’t have to swap gaskets but I’m glad it ended up working for you. Hope you found the video helpful.
🔥🔥👍
Appreciate you fam
how’d you know it was typically bad?
I did not for sure at first I assumed it could have been a cause for my code. I took it out and it looked a bit beat up but since it was not a oem I don’t think it was a good one so I replaced with old one. Still good to know how to replace if necessary.
What symptoms were in you stang?
Nothing really, I had just decided I wanted to switch out the sensor. I thought it had something to do with another code I was getting and it did not. Make sure you get an OEM sensor if you do plan on doing this.
what code were you getting?
I replaced the sensor, you will have a no start problem
@@ahmedbinjarn1706 so your telling me if the battery is out and i swap sensors the car will know its a new one and wont allow it to start ?
