    Hello Sir, Do you know how to judge whether the camshaft position sensor is good or bad? Can it be measured with an multimeter?

    • @TechandCars123
      @TechandCars123  6 месяцев назад +2

      Yes! It can be checked with a multimeter! You can check the power supply and the signal output of the sensor. Have a look at the following video: ruclips.net/video/CfRKkHCYk6A/видео.html

    Dear, I have warm start problems (not at working temperature and not cold), othervise engine running normal and smooth. No other signs. The computer doesn't show any errors, so no one can fix the problems (we have such good mechanics). Do you think the problem could be with this sensor?

      I highly suspect bad coolant temperature sensor or its wiring! Have you looked into it?

      @@TechandCars123 hello, thanks for your opinion and advice. I haven't checked yet, because the mechanics claim it can't be because the computer doesn't show it. They only know how to look at errors. I will definitely check it out! I ordered it. Do you know which manufacturers are trustworthy?

    Would a bad sensor work fine until the engine is warmed up? Then fail, stall and make a low rumble-type sound?

      Having that same issue. Everything is fine when ypu just start the engine but after it warms the ECU light comes on then the car goes into limp mode

      Am really sorry to hear that! Have you tried to find out what is causing frequent crankshaft sensor failure? The most probable causes of frequent sensor failure are: Wiring Issues (Faulty or damaged wiring can cause intermittent or complete failure of the crankshaft sensor.) Electrical Problems: Issues with the electrical system, such as voltage spikes or fluctuations, can damage the crankshaft sensor. High operating temperatures can affect the performance and lifespan of the crankshaft sensor. Engine vibrations and mechanical stress can affect the durability of the sensor.
      And always make sure to use original parts (OEM parts) for longer service life.

      Why are you replacing the CRANKSHAFT position sensor instead of the camshaft position sensor? Isn't that the wrong sensor?
