Hello Guido, the location is probably your favorite location? I can understand that when I see the views. You have once again delighted us with new, dreamy pictures. I don't think I have ever seen such a beautiful and breathtaking light mood in the morning. Amazing! This location has an infinite number of motifs and facets of light to offer. At minute 8:08, you are standing in front of a small path that leads to a single tree. You also showed it briefly. I could imagine a great portrait picture here from your position in the direction you are looking. The path would be a great guide line to the tree. I enjoyed every second again. This is indeed my favourite location. I've been there so many times and still I find new shots and new compositions that I've never seen before. I actualy noticed one while editing the video that I never noticed on location but I'm sure I will be back to check it out. You are right about the 8:08 the shot at 10:20 is actually that tree. @@GuidoVanDeWater Hello Guido, I'm sure you'll come to the location many more times. With such an enchanting landscape, it's impossible to see everything with your eyes after 2 or 3 visits. There are so many impressions and stimuli for us humans that you can't take it all in at once. In my opinion! I feel the same way, and I think many of us do, that sometimes you only see things on the screen at home and then think, why didn't I see it better and take a photo straight away. You live in a nice area. Efeil, vogezen and even the mountains to the south aren't that far away. The video was recorded in national park maasduinen near the town called "afferden" but I live close to the city nijmegen right next to the Dutch/ German border.

The longer telephoto images are the strongest for me - I think it is the impact of the layers in the trees that you captured alongside the beautiful warm colour. Excellent. Also, the birch trees abstract really needs a good lump of positive contrast adding to it to give it more punch. Not sure if you've every tried Intentional Camera Movement, but I'd have tried that technique on those birch trees too. Hope you are keeping well sir?
I've tried icm before but never with satisfying results. It always feels a bit like... hmm I ruined a shot so let's call it icm 😅 but I agree that the silver birch photo could have used a bit more contrast. I might try that icm tip on those trees someday. Thanks for watching grt guido
Stellar photos! I really like the 4th one (at 1.19 min), the one at 10.06. I found the next one at 10.16 maybe a little bit too crispy and saturated. Also I really liked the one at 14.00 (Moody lane). Wonderful!
I agree on the 10.16 I shot It a little to late. It was better when the sunlight didn't hit the tree. The lane and the tree after it were my favourite once. Don't take much shots like that but hopefully I find more of these. Thanks for watching and your kind words! Grt guido

There are 3 exactly the same towers in nature reserves quite close to my house. I only visited this one in the videos. Maybe I should check the others out also. But across the netherlands there are maybe more then hundred towers like this. Most are free and some have a gate that opens if you insert 1 or 2 euro. But they are usualy always fun to visit. Hoi Guido, Ik zie dat u in deze video de 40-150 mm pro f2.8 gebruikt, maar de meeste foto,s zijn gemaakt f8 .. Mijn gedachte is dit zou ook mogelijk moeten zijn met de 40-150mm f4.5-f5.6 ? Grt Clarens
Qua focal range en aperture kan je dit prima maken met de 40-150 f4-5.6. Echter zal de foto gewoon minder scherp zijn en minder detail hebben dan met de pro serie. Maar dat mag natuurlijk ook wel met bijna 1000 euro prijs verschil. Het is maar net hoeveel eisen je stelt en hoe kritisch je bent. Voor mij is dit mijn werk dus dan moet het gewoon zo goed mogelijk zijn. Daarbij zijn de pro lensen weersbestendig en de goedkope lijn niet. Als je elke dag op pad bent dan is dat toch wel een pre. Staat tegenover dat de andere lens veel kleiner en lichter is. Keuzes... iedereen zal hier zijn eigen keus in moeten maken. Maar de scherpte van de 2 lensen is niet te vergelijken eigenlijk.
