Catching up on vids, stunning pictures indeed, those colours are just awesome. Now that Hassleblad is the one camera I really wish I could try out! It draws you in!!
X2D 📸 already Legendary. Shame we all cant have one. The technology is truly inspiring. Great Video Gav & Amanda 👏🏼 BTW, for the complainers out there, In a previous video, he was using a M43 camera 🫠 • Regardless of which Camera YOU are using, if YOUR sat on sofa & not taking photos, wouldn't matter which Camera is in the Bag...
Great video, photos are stunning - and I love the showcasing of these cameras, find it interesting to see what they can do. But ultimately it’s the photographer that counts and Gavin is one of the best. I always enjoy them just a little more when we have Amanda & Thomas in, the humour is great and a trademark of Gavin’s vids.
OMG, the colour quality in the first image is like an 8K image from The Hobbit. Thank you for taking us along for the ride 🙌🙌. Had to come back and say, holy moly all the images are breathtaking. Perfect Muise for the X2D 🙌 P.S. Cheque for the camper is in the mail. lol
Wonderful video as always. Love the aurora shot. I see folks getting worked up about the camera and I just don’t get it. You and Thomas are working professional landscape photographers. You are pretty much who a camera like that was made for. And over the years you have been using mostly Sony gear that is much more in the average person’s range and done incredible work with that. In fact, only a week or so back you had a video with a micro 4/3 camera and the results were amazing. If anything, you have proven to us more than anyone else that it’s not the gear, it’s how you use it. Shoot with whatever!
I love your videos! I'm not a professional, don't have a very expensive camera and may never buy one. But my photos have improved so much with your perspectives on composition. I've watched the F4 videos many times. Thank you for producing entertaining and educational videos!
Speaking of Ricketts Glen I was just there yesterday, it was my third trip there since seeing your video. I want to thank you for letting me know about it, its just an absolutely fantastic place for waterfalls. I tried to get there when there was good color but it wasn't as good as I was hoping but still worth the trip. Thank you for that wonderful video & all of your others that keep me entertained & inspired.
What a stunning set of beautiful images! You are an incredible photographer, and what an advert for the quality of reproduction produced by this Hasselblad camera.

Always great to see we should not take ourselves to seriously in life 😊 Some great British humor always great to see 👍 But your photography is also great as always! Regardless what camera gear as in the end thats not the most important piece of the puzzle in creating a great image...
These guys work their butts off to bring us great content and entertainment, which costs us nothing. I certainly have no intention of buying a HB and no amount of promotion will make me change my mind. I also didn’t fancy the Nikon Z8, Sony A2, Fuji 100s etc etc. I also watch mainstream tv with all their branded sponsorship and don’t buy any of that either. I really enjoy the videos but also realise that it is a business as well and these guys deserve it for all their hard work.
That Aurora shot with the camper, sold, I’m buying’ it. How much to post it to Australia? Amanda’s reactions and silent treatment were hilarious, thanks for the laugh guys. Fantastic shots too, you deserve that Hassy. Cheers
😂 Gavin you're slowly (and I mean slowly 😆) becoming one of me favourite photography RUclipsrs / comedians lol! Keep the laughter coming, wouldn't want a face of thunder rocking up in the comments section 😅
Great photographer, great film maker, great actor / director, but geesh Amanda! Who's that guy that's talking all the time? And why is he using your camera?
I’m a little surprised that everyone is obsessed with the camera vs. the camper (what I took as the actual theme of the video and foreshadowing). Sure, I am jealous that Gavin and Thomas (maybe) were gifted, given, supplied, etc. the Hasselblad cameras, but they have also put in the work. Great video, can’t wait to see the next one.
Subscribed! Great photography and you made me want that camera :-). Your camper also brings back memories... we had a 9.6 with the exact same interior.
Hey Gavin. Looks like we missed each other on the trails but seems we were in the same places at the same time. Another great video and good luck with camper and counselling. 😊 Cheers
This "battle" with Thomas is so hilarious ! Your videos always make my day compared to the boring things Thomas publish most of the time. 😂 More seriously what's going on with Hasselblad ? Have they got a new marketing director more versed into online marketing? I think it's very clever but a bit annoying to see this camera all over RUclips, or at least the one I follow.
I personally don’t care what gear you guys use. You are very inspirational and anyone can learn something from your artistry. That tree though…😍 Truly magna-feekwa. 😂
That Hassy is simply elegant, bland yet still stylish. Congrats on acquiring a legend! Nova Scotia is underrated, I love the views from Kellys mountain and the Cabot Trail is beautiful all year round but fall is extra special. I"m moving off the Rock in the next year or sooner, love the peacefulness here but everything is just too far to reach. Nova Scotia is on my very shortlist, looking in Sackville area recently, I don't need a camper, but thanks lol Cheers,
Very entertaining as always Mr Fototripper, as is the comments section. Just make sure you keep that Hasselblad safe, otherwise Amanda might trade it in for a new camper!
I love that first shot of the tree. It almost looks like that tree in the foreground is reaching over and grabbing that rock with one of its limbs to pick it up and move it. Great video Gavin.
@ 4:32: "Hey! Lady! I'm shooting here! Do ya MIND??" Haha, I know you didn't say that (though you likely thought it). Great video and images! I'm in Maryland for the time being and the leaves are only now starting to turn. I went to Shenandoah National Park last weekend but was disappointed with the lack of color.
The Hasselblad quality is gorgeous to watch. I love to see the results and I am happy that two of the most talented yt content creators are able to use this outstanding camera system.
I think the worry subscribers have is that in selling your camper, we'll see less adventures and more gear. I love your channel for goofy adventures and camaraderie, the photos provide a common ground for these things to revolve around. Gear is bottom of the list in reasons why I subscribe. You'll miss the camper Gavin, I know I did when I sold mine, so I ended up buying another!
Hi Gavin....Crackin video, aurora borealis has been awesome here ever in Devon, UK so I'm told there are photos around Tiverton with the green & red sky, but personally I missed it every time...What a w***** I am. Have seen on F/Book. I shoot with a Canon R3. Would love to have seen it. Real superb shots of the waterfall & that tree....Love the Hasselblad and where you live, would really love to take some photos over there. But on chance of that happening.....Again superb video & funny as well....All the best to u & Amanda... Colin Devon UK..
Well, I finally managed to get to Emerald Lake Lodge!!!! My wife and I spent 4 days there staying at the Lodge, getting some unbelievable shots of the surrounding area as well as a nice 6 point bull elk. I was quite honoured to standing in the very spot my two favourite Mentors (Gavin & Adam) once stood and took the classic night shot of the cafe. I did however manage to get some shots that even you didn’t get, that were even as impressive. Hope you’re enjoying your new Hasselblad. Cheers Gavin!

Wheels in Gavin, got to show off those rims to really sell the camper's best features. I think you need to rebrand it the "Aurora Edition" though. Limited edition of course.
I hear great things about Bigfoot campers being built and insulated for true 4 season camping. Congrats on your camera, the detail in the photos are stunning! Was that the incredible northern light explosion on 10/10? I couldn't believe what I was seeing without a camera in southeastern NH.
I don't care if you are shooting with the expensive Fuji point and shoot or the Hasselblad: I can't afford either. I'm here for the amazing shots and tutorials. Ignore the haters.
The shots are great but I still love the look the 85mm Zeiss Otus provides at 1.4 for landscapes more than what I’ve seen from the X2D, you can get some super dreamy photos wide open at infinity, curious if these lenses could handle stuff like that
Firstly reminder to myself, don’t read your comments! Ffs what’s wrong with fork! Secondly, id fecking love to try, have the X2D. I remember trying the X1D and loved it! Good on ya spud! And Tom.
