It's time I told you the truth. Is the Fujifilm GFX100s medium format camera really any good for landscape photography?
After shooting with it daily for two weeks I've learned all about the limitations of this pricey camera. It's time to give you the honest scoop.
Rather than a snooze fest of a review, I take you on an adventure up to Lake Agnes and Little Beehive in the spectacular scenery of Lake Louise.
I dodge repeated attacks from a dive-bombing 'camp robber', struggle to be heard over the noisy crowds but STILL managed to come away with an absolute banger...or maybe even two.
Brent takes his new identity to a whole new level and it seems I now have a new 'Number One Fan', but she's kind of demanding.
Will we purchase an overpriced instant coffee and a stale muffin at the tea house? Will I ever get used to 'Fabien' Brent's alter ego and which dog are we taking home with us?

the ending is worth more than all the minutes in all other fototripper videos combined.
Gavin - you make me smile every single time. Yours is far and away my favourite channel on RUclips, and Amanda is just so damn adorable. And the thing that makes your videos such a compelling watch is you're actually an incredible photographer. My three prints just arrived on Friday, and I feel so privileged to have them. They're getting framed on going on the wall.
As for the GFX, Fulifilm would be mad not to let you keep the bloody camera. They'll never find a better, more engaging ambassador for their products than you. How the hell can they lose?

Dear Fuji, while Gavin only has 68k subscribers, most of us live on his every word. As an example, 19K of us got engaged right after his engagement video aired. I have noticed about 22k Sony A7M4s recently hit eBay for sale, no doubt on the assumption Gavin is keeping the Fuji camera and we all will soon be joining him with a Fuji purchase once our gear is successfully sold. If you are not persuaded by pure economics, consider the heavier camera he will be schlepping will help him get into better shape. You may actually be helping save a life. Great video Gavin. Seeing the trails brought back lots of memories! We loved hiking to Lake Agnes, Big Beehive and the Plain of Six Glaciers. The Teahouse actually had some decent scones. Lartch trees make it even better.
Awesome shots by you and Brent (Fabian, lol). That bird stealing your sandwich was incredible. I laughed so hard. That is a brave bird and he's forever immortalized in this video, lol. What a beautiful location, and what an absolutely beautiful photograph you got of Lake Agnes. That was very much worth every bunion and toe pain that may have occurred! Loved this one Gavin, not only because of the entertainment as always and beautiful photos but also I had the privilege to visit Banff national park a couple of years ago before all this shitstorm broke out and did the hike upto Big Beehive past Lake Agnes so its bringing back some amazing memories or our time there.
Hopefully I can visit Canada again one day as it's so beautiful and theres so much I'd like to see over there.

Love the video, and the beautiful views. Thanks for the review on GFX 100s. I switched from DSLR to Fuji X-T4 about a year ago. The new GFX are really intriguing, still out of my budget range but it’s definitely on my radar.
