Thanks, I guess you can never photograph the sun without over exposing it. Maybe I should have used my nd1000 haha. Thanks for watching and your kind comment grt guido
I agree with you. When I shot the images I really thought the sun would be way over exposed but while editing it didn't bother me either. Thanks for watching again! Grt guido
Hi Guido, to me the sound quality seems fine and I totally agree that enjoyment should come first and if it results in good or great photos it is the icing on the cake. 😊
I figured out the sound issue. It only appeared when I use my 150-400 when I put the neck strap diagonal it scratches against the microphone. It only appeard when it gets colder because then the microphone is portioned different compared to when I walk around in a t shirt. Thanks for watching and your comment I appreciate it! Grt guido
That's exactly the mindset to have. It actually pays off a lot to adapt your expectations. Like, yesterday I was expecting to do some macro for fall butterflies, and I end up walking past a snake sunning. Got some nice posing shots with my 12-40 2.8 and my 75 1.8.
Ow wow where are you from? We don't encounter snakes where I'm from. On one hand I would say luckely but on the other hand I love animals haha 😅 but I totally agree be as flexible as possible! Thanks for watching grt guido
@GuidoVanDeWater I'm from North Carolina, USA. It's common to see snakes occasionally in mid-to late fall because we often have warm days, even in winter. I photograph them when I get the chance.
You got the big white 150-400! Very nice. I recently ordered the 100-400 f5-6.3 as an option when the light is good for birds while hiking. I love my 40-150 2.8 for landscape and bigger animal's, but i often didn't have the reach for small skiddish birds.
I do not own the 150-400 just to make that clear. Being an OM ambassador had its advantages. Got it on loan for some time. It's a great lens but I've used the 100-400 for years and never disappointed me! I think you will have lots of fun with it. Thanks for watching and your comment. Grt guido
To me, a day out taking photos is already an amazing day. A great reminder to have for every photographer and managing expectations. It seems one of those days when your fog magnet didn't work out huh. :D very much enjoyed your photos, beautiful color from the cloudless sky and the Sun and Tree frames worked really well.
Thanks I tried to make the best of it even without the fog. And I totally agree with you. Everyday out for photography is a day to relax and clear my mind. So it's always a win win even before i got the camera out of the bag. Thanks for watching grt guido
I always try to be positive, so I'm happy to see that you noticed, haha. This is what is literally a case of making the best of the possibility. Thanks for watching and your kind comment I appeciate it. Grt guido
Can't always get what you want! So Mick Jagger sang. At the end of the day you had a nice walk walked down a new path for the first time and didn't see you being attacked by mosquito's. So all in all a good day. In Melbourne as I write this is wet wet wet! Sounds you had the better weather. 😄
Haha, yeah, we had wet, wet, wet all year long, but finally, the weather is getting better. Do you have something like a rainy season there? Or is it just bad luck? I don't think the path is supposed to be a path. It was more like someone stept on its lawnmower drunk and drove crazy through that Heather. Thanks for watchibg grt guido
@GuidoVanDeWater Weather in Melbourne at this time of year is usually dry pleasant and temperatures of about 25°c. Today it will be rain and 14°c. Climate change!
@barryaitken9761 funny here it's getting warm and wet in the winter and with you the opposite. Climate change is killing us. Or are we killing the climate... thanks for watching grt guido
Reminds me of a time where me and my dad were on a photo road trip, coming back to Texas through South Louisiana. I kept seeing these awesome cypress trees with sunbeams cutting through the mist, but dad wouldn't stop because there was a scenic river crossing, he knew of with an old cable ferry. While I thought that would cool too but- I gave him his way. Anyways long story short, the ferry wasn't there and hasn't been in 20 years. To this day I use it against him when he starts telling me where he wants to go and why. "Remember the cable ferry?"
That sounds like a nice memory. I have this rule with myself. Don't leave where it's good. If I have a location in mind but it's real foggy close to my home I don't go further. If the light is good there is no need to search somewhere else. Just take what you can get. But those trees are probably still there so just go back one day 🙂 thanks for watching and sharing your story! Grt guido
Hello Guido Nice moring for going out and that is the first reason why. Second is taking images. In most cases only for documentary and seldem with expectations. The tree agains the sun look realy good. Like those silhoutte images :-). By the way, have you got the rest of the edit images? Grt Ernesto
Yes I've got all the edit images but I didn't make it to record the video this week. Since the kids have they're holiday next week it will probably take another 2 weeks before it's finished. Thanks again as always I highly appreciate it! Grt guido
I figure I have to be flexible and ready to make the best of what I find all the time. In Ontario the leaves are changing now, hopefully I will get some nice Autumn Shots soon. I know what you mean, I call some of them Facebook Photographs. I like the tree and sun almost a vector image.
I'm always trying to be as flexible and open-minded as possible. I would love to visit Borth America during the autumn period. That Indian summer is high on my bucket list. Still have to watch your dark sky park video. I'm running behind on almost every schedule recently, so there's not much time left. Thanks for watching grt guido
@GuidoVanDeWater I'm still getting caught up. Lots of driving 🚗 around North America, health insurance is a concern as well. I'm thinking about Waterfalls now.
Grt guido
If printing is the standard then I only have 4 haha I don't print much but I do plan on printing more. I'm filling me webshop with new prints behind the scenes. Hopefully I can launch it somewhere in the next 2 months. Thanks for watching and I hope you will get lots of great shots in the next 12 months! Grt guido
QUESTION : How many inages that you think are your best work, do you take a year?
I like the shot of the tree with the sun beside it, who cares if the sun is overexposed, it makes a great photo
Thanks, I guess you can never photograph the sun without over exposing it. Maybe I should have used my nd1000 haha. Thanks for watching and your kind comment grt guido

Expectations can close off access to spontaneity. I enjoyed your reflections and images!
That is a realy nice quote. Never heart of it but it is exactly how I would approach things. Thanks for watching and your comment. Grt guido
Another interesting video Guido, I like the sun with the tree shots. Sound seems ok to me, certainly isn’t distracting👍
I agree with you. When I shot the images I really thought the sun would be way over exposed but while editing it didn't bother me either. Thanks for watching again! Grt guido

@AguilaDeOnix85 nice! I always want to visit the east coast of the USA some day. But maybe a little more north to see the Indian summer. Who knows...
Sun tree shot is really cool, like the message of this video.
Thank you appreciate it that you took the time to comment! Grt guido

Hoi Guido
Wat een leuke en ook mooie serie foto’s. Het geluid is dik in orde. Maar misschien zijn mijn oren dat niet 😂😂😂
