TODAY IS THE DAY.. When I just want to respect you Guido for keeping personality and just beeing yourself, even after becoming an ambasador. There are some names in this industry that were doing great content BEFORE joining strict manufacturer "promote policy" videos, and losing themselves in that content. While you still beeing yourself, having real fanbase, with some bond, the rest of them is just... a joke.. they became empty channels with tons of views, hundread thousands of views.. just promoting new stuff from their manufacturer and these are the only new videos that appear on their channel since then. For sure it is boring for them, but they won't tell it, as they agreed for something. Can't say who, but this is how it is, and I can't stand that.. but IT'S JUST TOO OBVIOUS by looking on their content. Personally I feel offended with this acting, because I offer trust in someone, and then they just treat is as pure business. I thought there are 2 people I follow there on youtube, TO THIS DAY, as one of them deleted my comment after saying that. Seems he is one of them too, great to know. So you are now the only one seem to be a real person on this platform, and generaly speaking in this world who do what he loves, do his job to promote the brand, and still be himself. The rest is just trying to survive. Thanks!

I like this type of video as it "breaks" the more common videos. Story telling is the base of photography so it is good that you point it out and reminds us about it. Thank you! Good to see you back home again. The newest software can breathe new life into old images. Some wonderful wildlife Photographs too. Good information on what companies like National Geo are looking for. What would you call the images wit people in? Lifestyle? Keep up the great work.

Hoi Guido In de eerste plaats van harte gefeliciteerd met het behalen van de 3e plaats bij national geograpigh je hebt het dik verdiend. Mijn doel voor het volgende jaar is om er veel op uit te trekken en mijn fotohobby te reanimeren. Ik heb er erg veel zin in. Komende week ga ik naar Cameranu in Utrecht om te kijken of ik voor de Canon R1 ga of naar het Om-systeem overstap . In Utrecht liggen dan speciaal voor mij de Canon R1 en de Om-1 MK II met de 150-400 klaar om te kijken wat voor mij de beste keuze is. Met vriendelijke groet

I placed top three at a local photo contest a few years ago off a lumix bridge camera. It's still one of my personal favorites from Pilot Mountain in North Carolina.

Hi Guido ... dankjewel voor deze video! Ook hier leer ik weer zoveel nieuwe dingen van je. Ga ik zeker allemaal uitproberen als ik ook de andere editing video's heb bekeken. Ik loop een beetje achter ivm de pups. Overigens heel blij dat ik naar je heb geluisterd ... die 12-100 is perfect om pups te fotograferen. Dank! Hartelijke groet

Thanks Guido, I turned the exposure box on but I can't turn it off. It says Reset OK Hold but if I touch the box it doesn't go away. If I press OK it doesn't go away.

Some lovely pohots I like the one with the leaf but love the one with the castle. Excellent job! I enjoy the fall season for photography because it makes it a bit easier for a beginner to get nice photos

Picture of the the two riders is a great picture. My favourite however is the picture with the tree... Minimalistic photo. Great shot. My compliments to the little cameraman. He did a great job aswell. Dikke duim👍

I was there already 3 times in autumn at the Hoegne and it was always fantastic. Great photography and last time I was there with a friend photographer we had a great time at the restaurant(beside the parking) outside with fireplace and a drink with dozen of photographers. My next visit will be in spring(fresh colors I hope)...

Made the most of it for sure. Time was short for the 150 to 400 shot. I've heard it said when it's overcast point your camera down. Wide aspect was a good idea as well. Like the moving water shots. Fog machine came in handy for sure

QUESTION : Whats your favourite season for photography?

Perfect lens for me. Closeups, Portraits, Landscape, big Insects, in the Zoo.. whatever. This is the Lens. Even with the MC-20 or with extension Tubes. This lens delivers. Perfect Sharpnes wide open. And with my new OM-1 it got even better. Not to forget, i owned Nikon DX and FX, owned Fuji with good Lenses. None of them delivered the Olympus / OM System Lenses do. I also own 12-40 2.8 Pro II, 1.2 25 Pro, 60 Macro and all of them deliver great image quality regardless wich F-Stop used. I love this System .

I was expecting you to show us how to cook some traditional Dutch food on the side. Thumbs down! Great to see your style before and after, I think we’ve progressed quite similarly. From punchy, contrast, saturated to a softer. Interesting how you applied the GenAI features, I usually use it to remove stuff rather than the generative expand (mostly because of the difference in resolution and detail)

Ha Guido, geweldige video weer. Superleuk die edit-video’s. Mag je best vaker doen 😊. Ook dapper om heel oude foto’s te laten zien waar je een beetje over the top bent gegaan. Ik denk dat dat voor iedereen wel heel herkenbaar is. Maar heel leerzaam om het nu beter te doen, al blijft het natuurlijk altijd een kwestie van smaak en dat maakt fotografie zo ontzettend leuk.

Thanks for taking the time to make this Guido. Very helpful indeed, I particularly liked seeing your old edits and how your processing now is much more in line with reality. Getting there on time has been paying dividends. 👍

Guido, when you use AI to generate extra frame (like you did on the shot with three deer at 13:05 -14:28) do not generate the entire section at once. If you do it in subsections of <1000 pixels on the longest side (use rectangular marquee tool at top left in PS), AI will generate full detail and there will be no visible difference in detail between AI generated and original parts of the picture.

It's a great thing to be able to go back and revisit old edits. Ansel Adams said "Yes, in the sense that the negative is like the composer’s score. Then, using that musical analogy, the print is the performance" Editing the raw file is the performance today. Great video. Mike
