Beautiful set of images! Thank you for including two of mine with these great photographers! Also thanks for the feedback. I agree with it completely and I learned something there and from the other images! Would love for you to make this a recurring thing!
Thanks for joining. Happy to see that you enjoyed it. I'm sure there will be a new session somewhere although i have no idea when yet. If everyone promotes the channel i can do another one at 10k 😅 no i will definitely nake one sometime in the future. I actually enjoyed making the video and learned a couple of things myself. Or at least I found some new inspiration. Thanks for watching grt guido
Great images from everyone! Your subscribers are quite skilled and shoot some interesting places 😎 Ha ha I’m glad we see the same “mistake” on the shot to a certain extent 😁 great video and congrats again on 5k
This was so special of you to do this Guido and I’m thrilled that more people are finding your excellent channel :) Next time I will send you an image…I missed out this time But it’s always good to see what others are doing too so I enjoyed that You are absolutely right what you do with an image is personal preference but having great advice from someone like you can always help too I’m always picking up new tips about Lightroom too Thank you
Thank you for sharing your comment. It was a joy to make this video even do it was extremely long 😅 didn't want to disappoint anyone that send images. There will deffibitly be a next time but no idea when. Thanks for watching. Grt guido
If you want you can already send some images. I can store them for the next video although idon'tt know whenI'mm going to make it. Might be weeks or months but that way you won't miss the call 🙂
Thanks Mike. Did I do your image any justice? Thought it was difficult to edit to be honest. Not an expert in night photography. Thanks for watching. Grt guido
Guido, thank you for your kind words. The photo of the girl at the Antwerp train station is one of my favourite pics. In that time I played a lot with black and white with subject in color. The Gollinger Waterfall was when I just started with Olympus. Now with all the new equipment I would indeed use your feedback. Well, hope to see you soon. Gr Robbert
Both great images and well worth showing. Is the girl your daughter? It's funny that some images always stay with us no matter how long ago we took them... thanks for participating ij the video and your comment, and we will definitely meet soon. Grt guido
Thanks for taking the time to review my images and so many by other subscribers! I really enjoyed seeing what others here have produced. Fantastic stuff!
Thank you for sharing those images. That bat images was just next level. I've never seen a sky like that or even dreamt about it 😅 thanks for watching and supporting appreciate it. Grt guido
Hoi, hier wat gegevens van mijn 2 foto's Gollinger Wasserfall Austria, Om-d 1 mk3, 12-100f4 pro at 13mm f8.0 iso200 1.6sec nd32 handheld Belgium, Central Station, OM-1 mk 1, 12-40 f2.8 II, at 20mm f4.5 iso 3200 1/320s.
Guido, thank you for including my photos in your video. I really appreciate all your kind words and your advice on cropping / edit the image. Hope to see more videos like this in the future. It is nice to see the photos from other people that follow you and to get your feedback on them. Perhaps, in case you consider to make more videos like this in the future, you could propose a specific theme and them people could send 1-2 photos that allign with the proposed theme. Just an ideea.
There is a lot of demand for another one of these videos, so I think that would be a great idea. Maybe it is interesting to make it into a sort of assignment. We take a subject and everyone has 1 or 2 months to create a great image with that subject. Then everyone sends them and I can show them and talk about then on the channel. It would be a bit more interactive with the audience. Sort of photoclub on youtube 😅 thanks for sharing your thoughts here! Grt guido
These are videos Guido what I really like. You should do this more often. I should have sent one of my pictures...well maybe next time. That beautiful insect on that great pictures is one of my favorite. Its a dragonfly btw:). Greetings and God Bless.
Thanks. I hot so many positive feedback on this video and people asking to make another one that i probably will do it. I have some new project now so it will probably be later this year. I will do the announcements again on the channel so you're welcome to send your images then. Or do it already then you can't miss it. I will just store them for the next video 🙂 thanks for watching and your comment! Grt guido
Thanks a lot Guido! Wonderful photos!!! I really appreciate your feedback! I noticed the distortion of Castle Doornenburg in the Northern Lights photo. Didn’t adjust it with the transformation tool because there wasn’t enough space around to get a decent result… I preferred the distortion above the 1x1 crop loosing a lot of colors in the sky… Well I was so surprised and excited I managed it to capture this that I didn’t think of a lot of things to get a better photo…😊 Just focusing on capturing a colored sky with an interesting foreground 😉 What about the Damsel Fly (no it’s not a Dragon Fly 😉) thanks!! It’s indeed the sun on an early morning. Underexposed to get this silhouette 😀
I just wanted to show how much you had to cut away when you straightened the castle. I agree that the distortion worked better than the 1x1 crop. My point was that in these situations, a bit more room would benefit the scene. I totally get that you missed it. I've been chasing after northern lights for years, but somehow, I seem to keep missing it. I will probably run around like a headless chicken myself. When I finally encountered it 😅 the dragonfly shot was absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing your images and participating in the video. I really appreciate it! Grt guido
😂 tof filmpje! 👌🏼
Haha ja I know ik moet dat echt engels zetten. Grt guido
Hello Guido So many nice and great images. Thanks for showing my images and tips for better editing. Most times I forget croping to make the image better. Next time if you would see images I will send you the whole image again to see how you will crop it :-). Grt Ernesto
That's a good idea. I'm sure there will be another video at some point because there were lots of questions about it. I'm happy to see you enjoyed this video. You're the only one that I know who participated in both these types of videos that I've made, so thanks you 🙂 grt guido
@@GuidoVanDeWater That's easy to explain. I like the style of your videos. You are kind, friendly and optimistic. On the other hand, life is the best teacher. Don't belive you know all. Go with open eyes through the world and you learn every day and from every person something new :-).
Haha and it's the only canon I will probably ever buy 😅 and I have to be honest... this printer is rated the best of the best so no shame in buying good products. Grt guido
