That's the same for me. Although I'm giving them now I never felt like I needed one. Learned from watching youtube myself. But I have to say that they are usualy a lot of fun. There are some the I would like to attejt but they are way to expansive for my taste. Thanks for watchibg grt guido
Aren't there any ij the us and Canada? Bu I agree that some of them are very expansive. I have some on my radar also but I refuse to pay that much money for it. So I try to keep them low myself. Thanks for watchibg grt guido
Dankjewel. Dat was inderdaad best een bijzondere foto. Puur toeval dat die blaadjes precies op die boom kwamen. Bedankt voor je deelname en het kijken van de video! Grt guido
Nice to see another new location. I really like that overlay shot!! The water motion shots are great too. Days are much shorter here too. Glad that you got that leaf before it was GONE! So quick.
I just caught the leave on camera when it blew away. Tried positioning a new one there, but it just didn't work as good as the first one. Luckely, everyone got the shots. It's amazing how short the days are getting and we're are not even close to the shortest day yet. Thanks for watching Mike I appreciate it grt guido
Thanks so much. We were indeed lucky with the weather. The second group (daybafter this one) was a bit less lucky, ubfortubatly. But still some great results on that day also. Thanks for watching grt guido
Hello Guido The single leave on the rock looks. It´s always worth to take such an image. The double exposure looks very pretty. Good choice of the images putting together. Had made my first double exposure experiences in the late 1970s and the early 1980s with a simple 6x6 Kamera from the 1950s. Now I make it in post, but this more picture in picture creations and not realy double exposures. Most times with portraits. Grt Ernesto
It's so much for to experiment with creative photography. Agree that it's more picture in picture. I remember that a coleugue of mine made a picture of a car wheel. One side turning and the other side still. Thanks for watchibg gdt guido
Thanks. I almost didn't photograph the pano. It was one of the contestants that showed me an image before we wanted to wake back and I though omg. I have to get that shot. Finally there was room on the boardwalk so I could quickly take it. Thanks for watchibg and the comment grt guido
What fabulous conditions you had for your workshop and I’m certain everyone there thoroughly enjoyed it :) I loved the overlay image it’s like a painting Another feature on the OM 1 camera I’ve not explored :)
The double exposures are so much fun! Recently I found a beaufoull yellow tree in a dark forest but no fog... next day I had just 1 hour with crazy fog so I went back. Unfortunatly it was to far to walk there that day so I didn't make it. But on my way back I though he... what If I use yesterday's images without fog and them double expose it with just a lot of fog in an open space.... haven't looked at the results on the computer but on the camera it looked crazy good 😅 opend a whole new level of photography there. You'll see the video in a couple of weeks. Thanks for watchibg so many videos today I appreciate it! Grt guido
Hi Guido, it was a fantastic workshop indeed and very helpful with answering so many of our questions. For us the double exposure and the last pano are our favourites. Thanks again Guido and all participants for making this a very special day 😊
Ok now I'm confused because I can't link this youtube name to any of the participants. Please give me a hint here haha. But it was a fantastic day. Nice people, perfect weather and some great images. And I'm haply to see that you learned something! Grt guido
I was one of the group and this time of year in this spot is absolutely amazing. I was able to test the live nd filters properly now. And Guido showed me some tricks and even from the others I learned some things about compositions. I will definitely come back to this area again. Guido and the rest of the group, thanks for a great day!
Thanks for joining robbert and for your kind comment. Happy to see that you still enjoyed it even when leaving early. Hopefully you will restore to full health completely and soon! I wish you all the best! Grt guido
What a find that was! I absolutely loved that shot. Probably one of my favourite shots lately. I'm always on the look out for strangely shaped shots like that. Thanks for watching grt guido
auto_awesome Beautiful images Guido, I especially like the intimate scenes. Fantastic lens that 12-40, in October i visit the Mullerthal, it almost never left the body.
Oeh that must have been great. I would like to visit that mullerthal sometime. It's not that much further then this location. Thanks for watchibg and the comment! Grt guido
Love the double exposure! Sometimes do them on my OM5. Once you’ve made one DE, you can overlay more photos. Say you double expose two images, then you can overlay with a third, and then when that’s complete, use that image to overlay a fourth image etc. I’ve found minimalist images work better, or with one similar to the one you took. Interesting video, Guido. I have joined small local workshops, but the ones I wish to attend, the better ones, require travel, and that gets rather expensive!🇦🇺
It's indeed a lot of fun. The great thing about doing it in camera is that you can immediately see the results. I haven't tried it with multiple images yet, but I will give it a go soon. Thanks for the tip. Yeah, I get what you are saying about the workshops. I would love to join some myself, but some are also extremely expansive. Thanks for watching grt guido
That's really up to experimentation. In this case there was already a turning / moving line in the original shot so I figured it would be a bit to much. In the past I did one that I deliberately photographed completely out of focus. Thanks for watchibg grt guido
Grt guido
I would like to take part in workshops but living in an area located in the middle of nowhere doesn't offer it. It would be too expensive to participate in a workshop in the southern part of the country. Great video with some lovely photos!
@@GuidoVanDeWater Outside Östersund (Sweden) at the foot of the mountains 🙂 Lot of forest, lakes, small medium sized rivers, a lot of animals and birds but no workshop around😁
@dennismwallentin296 haha I know it's kind of off the track. But you won't believe it I was almost there in January. Visited a friend that rund a restaurant in linsell. It's called linsell baren. There are a lot of videos from the beginning of this year recorded in your area. I came to svenstavik and then turned around so I was almost there haha. Beautifull area were you live! Grt guido
@@GuidoVanDeWater Nice! Last winter was very good. I spent time on the Storsjön to hunt the northern light in -26 C with my Canon R6. Thanks, will go back to catch up with your visit. Then you know what I am talking about 😊
We actualy wanted to see the lake you mentioned but it was just to far away for the conditions we were facing that day. Would love to go back there one day.
Not so far. One person I follow is Jim Nix from Texas who has a lot of workshops I would like to do in Luminar Neo. However like yourself they are in the wrong time frame for me here in Australia.
If you ever want to do a private workshop online then the time frame should not be a problem. I've been sitting behind the computer in the middle of the night before to help people on the other side of the planet so I'm sure we could figure something out if needed. I didn't know Jim nix but looked at his website he takes amazing images. Grt guido
Hoi Guido Mooie foto’s weer.
QUESTION : Do you ever join photography workshops?
I would but frankly they are too expensive and generally I would have to get from Canada to Europe.
I never joined a photogrphy workshop.

Yes if it’s not too far away.
De dubbelopname lijkt wel een van gogh. Prachtig.
Dankjewel. Dat was inderdaad een mooi momentje 🙂 grt guido
Een aanrader! Veel geleerd en gezien. De overlay lijkt wel op een schilderij van Vincent van Gogh. Prachtig.

Wasn't excited as you described double exposure, but it looks great. Would it be even better if you rotated one layer?
