Love the examples and side by side comparison! I work with these all the time and still loved watching this!

Thanks for letting us know that it is possible to replace my old drain stopper with the better pop up design. I didn’t even know they could be cleaned the way you demonstrated, if I’m going to go through all that hassle adding a few more steps to replace the old one is a no brained. Wish me well with this!

Thank you for this video. It was to the point which I love without a lot of extra commentary. And it really made good points about the difference between these two. I have been searching for information to compare them in. Yours is absolutely the best! Thanks!

      Thanks man.
I finally learned how to cut and blend video clips.
      Still unscripted though. ;-)

For my tub, I just have a rubber plug stopper. It's simplicity and reliability is reassuring. I'm looking for a similar system for my vanity sink.

If you have a popup drain, you could remove the stopper and then just use one of these. amzn.to/3oAbL5a

Which clicker pop up would you recommend? I want a Kohler brushed nickel to match my new Kohler brushed nickel bathroom faucet, but all I can find is the plastic body design. Would you recommend staying with the all metal ones ?

This is the brushed nickel one you want. amzn.to/4dDOvrh
You definitely get what you pay for. The plastic ones are prone to leaking.

If my drain is 70mm diameter can l use a 66mm pop up drain?

This product will fit most standard lavatory sink basin holes which are larger than the drains. Just be sure to follow directions and use putty, or caulk as needed.

Can a stopper like that be used with an existing faucet that has the pull up stopper engagement?

      Absolutely.
You can remove the lift rod, or just leave it in place for decorative purposes. But the lift rod will not operate the new stopper.

Stupid question. But, is there a device I can use to click the stopper open? I don't want to put my hands in the dirty water.

Maybe your wife's toothbrush? Just kidding. Most people just wash their hands last.
