I have one of these (installed by plumber at remodel) and it leaks like crazy. Does not plug drain from draining. Have tried cleaning it a bunch of different ways. Leak has gotten progressively worse.

This works miraculously. I squeezed a bunch of dish soap and let it sit in the bowl for 20min then went at it with the toilet scrubber. The toilet scrubber is looking bad but at least it can flush again🥲😄

I just put this exact drain pop up in my bathroom after my old ones plastic attachment to the stopper broke and no longer worked....actually like the pop clicky noise the new one makes. Somehow satisfying to hear.

I have a different brand… over time (for me) the clicky stopper stops working correctly. If the mechanism comes out, bleach, or bleach based cleaning spray clears up the problem
