I spent like 4 hours watching these type of videos & trying to fix my pop up sink, & I swear to god, yours was one of the most easiest to understand. Thanks for successfully helping me fix my sink!!
Hi does it matter in the direction you place a over flow drain pipe ..i have a sink with a overflow. I bought the overflow drainpipe isvthere a certain way it should go in..thanks
Okay so yours started off good but like how tf did you get the bottom half of the drain off!!??? The part that the ball hinge thingy attached to?????????
I dont understand this. At 3:30 you can see that there is a gap between the sink drain, and the new drain pipe you are installing. There are two large holes on the side of that pipe, and the rubber washer is beneath those holes? Isnt that just going to create a perpetual pool of water outside the pipe???
In the event that the sink pop up is closed, and the water is left on, instead of overflowing, the water should go through the overflow hole (on the sink itself near the top)into those holes you just saw.

Dave Spates!! I watch your hiking vids!! 👍🏻
HAHA! Thanks for watching the hiking channel Kevin !!
I think we have different definitions of pop up. Mine is a push and pop up. Yours is more like a pull up.
Hi Holly, not my definition, just what’s written on the box of what I installed 👍
Thank you👊

I’m guessing you have a sink cabinet with covered access? If that’s the case I’m not sure without seeing it

00:09 - the packaging title that this pop-up came in disagrees with this statement.
It is a pop up. Just not a push button pop up.
